SHISEIDO S Cotton Pads 80 pcs

These are by far the softest cotton pads. To make them a better bargain just cut them in half as they are bigger than the rounds and you can get by with just 1/2. Love them! Will buy again when needed!

I love using these, they feel so luxurious much softer than your traditional cotton ball. I will never use cotton balls again after putting this on my face!

I use cotton pads to remove my face makeup. I am usually frustrated because things get very drippy with small, thin pads, plus it's tedious to keep grabbing pads to get the job done. Currently I am using an oil-based cleanser that also doubles as a moisturizer. I have a hard time finding thick and large enough cotton pads that not only will not drip oil all over the place but also get the job done without having to use a million pads. This pad is large and very thick and I only need two total and I'm done. I put the oil on the first one and that not only removes most of my makeup and but also gets a start on mopping up any excess cleanser. Then I use a second, dry one to remove any last makeup residue and gently spread around and remove any excess cleanser. That is all I need, and I actually feel that these pads have helped improve my beauty regimen because taking off my makeup is no longer so daunting and I can effectively used the cleanser as a moisturizer now. My only issue with these pads is that they are not super-duper soft. They are not exactly coarse, but getting there. On the other hand, I don't have a problem with them splitting (although I can see that they would split easily if I wanted to, and I suspect the inside is softer), and in general peeling them apart is no problem, though you do have to visualize the line between the top pad and the one beneath it. I will probably try another brand with similar dimensions next just to see if I can improve the softness factor, but who knows which I will end up sticking with.

I am a bit torn about these. I bought them out of curiosity since I use White Rabbit cotton squares normally. They are way too thick for my purpose, which is toner application. I imagine these would be great for removing a full face of makeup if you saturate the whole thing with micellar water. But you will blow through so much toner since it just soaks up a ridiculous amount, to the point when I just used the corner. Which brings me to my next point - If you try to cut them in half to rectify the size issue, they fall apart completely. Its almost like pillow filling inside lol.Give them a try if you wear a lot of makeup, otherwise these are a pass IMHO.
