Janome 4120QDC-G Computerized Quilting and Sewing Machine with Bonus Quilt Kit

I needed a better machine than the one I'd had for 40 years. A better machine than the one I bought 2 years ago that broke before a year was up. This machine. Janome 4130QDC was one I chose after researching for months. When I got it and first started using it I had no idea of all the amazing things it did. First off, no matter how long the seam or stitching, using a decorative stitch stays consistent the entire time. That's more than I could say about my previous machine. Second this machine handles thicker fabric very well. But there's more I discovered months after using. Like the stop/start button. I haven't used the foot pedal in months! I'm not even sure where it is... Then there's the lock stitch. At first I hated it. 5 up/down in the same spot before I could start sewing. Back stitch was faster. But. The lock stitch is less bulky and really does work well. I've gotten used to it. The automatic thread cutter. Wow. It's efficient and actually saves thread. I don't know what I'd do with a machine that doesn't have this feature. There's more but I've written too much. All in all this has been the best machine I've ever used. If I ever get another sewing machine it will be a Janome.

I am very pleased! I have have a Continental M17 also that I am trying to learn how to use as well.

Perfect machine. Bought to make my first grandchild a baby quilt. So easy to use!!!! Great investment and would highly recommend!

This Janome machine is sturdy and heavy enough that it doesn’t move around on your table top. It sews even stitches when sewing binding on a quilt. I have not had this machine very long but so far it performs like a gem. I have been sewing for 50 plus years with 4 different Singer and 1 Brother machines and none of them compare to this Janome machine. It’s easy to use, and the instruction booklet is easy to follow.

Love this machine! This is a perfect all around machine. We are using this for a work project to raise money for our day program for individuals with special needs and it’s a workhorse. We are making totes out of upholstery samples from furniture store donations and it is a workhorse. This is our third Janome and is a nice partner to our two Janome Loft 100’s. It is fairly priced with loads of features and extra accessories that allow us to go a bit deeper with our project, we love it!

The 53 pre-programed decorative stitches don't work. I followed the instructions in the manual and watched a you tube video. (I've been sewing for 54 years.) My machine would not create any of the decorative stitches. Seems like a very expensive straight stitch machine or, I got a poorly refurbished "new" machine, or it's a lemon. Very frustrating. Nice straight stitch though. It's going to be returned.

I’m new to sewing and quilting. I didn’t want to spent a fortune but I didn’t want a cheap machine. Almost everyone in my sewing guild has a Jamone so I did my research. I absolutely love my sewing machine. It is so easy to use, is quiet, easy to thread, and love the automatic thread cutter. So far I have not found anything that I don’t like about me new machine. I was worried about buying a machine online but I’m a very happy customer!!!

Ordered a Janome 4120 QDC as a gift. There was an issue with delivery...not sure why that happened and certainly can't say that it was anything the seller did. With that being said, iShopTops reacted immediately to my inquiry. A refund was already in the works. They instructed me to reorder and promised an upgrade of the sewing machine I originally ordered. They promptly shipped the machine and followed through on the upgrade promise. The recipient is very pleased!
