Q: Is the footbed removable? I would like to replace it with my orthotics.

No the footbed is not removable. I have bought two pairs..... Very comfortable. Had lots of complements. I also sprayed weather guard for protection from rain.

I wear size 7 1/2 shoe and wear size 8 with sandals. Ecco strap sandals are perfect fit!!! The sandal is very comfortable. Has adjustable Velcro straps.
