Finally A Good And Dark, Blue Bone Case Knife Just Like I Have Wanted For Years. Well Done Case !
I have a few other Case Knives that were billed as Dark Blue Bone but they had a lot of weakly dyed areas with a lot of white bone that, to me, looked kind of odd or even shoddy. Like they were learning how to dye bone as they went along when in fact Case has been dying bone handle knives for more than a hundred years.Anyway . . .I am super pleased with this Navy Blue Bone - Rogers Jig Sod Buster Jr knife !No problems with the knife at all . . . and I often have a lot to say about Case knives and often a fair amount of it is not positive. I have quite a few of their knives and many Sodbusters and Sodbuster Jr.s and continue to buy Case knives because I really like many of their designs even over Great Eastern Cutlery's knives (which are supposed to be "to die for" but in reality I find them to be over rated, hard to get and the designs mostly leave me cold). So I keep coming back to Case, placing my order and crossing my fingers. I've sent a good number of Case knives back. Most of them for color misrepresentation and or weak dye problems. Not this one.I really am QUITE HAPPY WITH THIS KNIFE !It's a keeper.Even fairly well sharpened (which still seems to be a challenge for Case).I'm a sucker for dark blue knife handles with some serious texture so I had to pounce on this one.Glad I did.Keep up the good work Case.

Quality control is garbage
Purchased this on the 8th of February 2025 and today I noticed the Case shield is missing from the scale. I’ve heard that Case’s quality control has gone to crap so when it showed up dull I wasn’t surprised. The dullness was easily rectified but apparently Case has had to cut back on glue as well. No idea where the shield went so I can’t even glue it back in. If I buy Case again I’ll buy old stock when they were a lifetime knife.

The red badge looks stunning in the navy bone. Honed up razor sharp. Fit and finish is spot on. Nice snappy pulls on blade.

Works Great
Beautiful knife out of the box. Super sharp. red case xx logo fell off first 30 secs. Just put a dab of Gorilla glue on it .good as new
