I was really disappointed with this rooftop cargo box. It looks nice and has good potential, but mine arrived missing several rivets on the hinges, which made it impossible to use as-is. I had to buy my own nuts and bolts just to make it functional. For something this large and expensive, it should come complete and ready to install. Quality control clearly needs improvement — not worth the hassle. Honestly, I would return it if it weren’t so big and such a hassle to ship back. Disappointed overall.

Great cargo box for the price. Fits well on my 2017 MDX, though on the back it does touch the radio antenna. Just took in on a 12 hour road trip with no issues. Noise levels were low. UPDATE: I recevied an email back from perflex. Apparantly the black scuffing is caused by the black fabric that the unit is wrapped in during shipping. They reached out and offered to refund me a partial amount for my order due to this inconvenience. Adding more stars for the quick customer service response.Original Review: Received my white cargo carrier and immediately found damaged after opening the box. It almost looks like it was used beforehand but I'm not sure that's the case. It has black scuffs on it and is also covered in a black residue that won't come off when I tried cleaning it with a soapy washcloth. I have contacted perflex customer service but has still not received any response to my email. I will update this review if perflex responds and makes this right. It's a nice cargo carrier but I'm pretty upset that it came scuffed up and stained with what looks like grease or oil or something.
