Q: Is this harness escape proof?

Escape-proof is hard to prove, but I'd say YES. This harness is the best one I've bought for my pug, who is 12 years old, and she tries to pull forward and backward. What makes it safe is the unique way it wraps around the front legs and then clips the harness together around the back. No other harness does this. You can then adjust this across your dog's back to make it tight or loose to ensure they don't get out.

Q: Can they wear them all the time

I actually didn't like this harness as much because if you leave it on without the leash attached the straps hang long. I would not leave it on all the time.
