I took this on an international plane trip and it worked really well! There's lot of handy compartments (only problem was remembering which compartment I put stuff in) and the laptop compartment fit my 17" laptop with room to spare. There was a good amount of padding and the straps were comfortable. I was a bit worried whether a fully loaded backpack would fit under the seat, but it fit just fine. I loved all of the little inner pockets and even a ring to hook keys onto. The only thing that I wished it had that would have made it perfect for all my needs would be a hip belt. When I fully loaded the backpack (it holds a LOT) it did get quite heavy, especially with the laptop, and a hip belt would have taken some of the load off my back. In fact, if it had a hip belt it would have been perfect for hiking as well as traveling. The color is pretty and I love my backpack! If they ever add a hip belt, I would buy another one just for that. Highly recommend this product!

This book bag is an awesome deal! I have 4 medical coding textbooks as well as a workbook and notebook that I have to carry and this bag fits it all, no problem AND still has room for a laptop in the other pocket. There are also pockets to keep pens and pencils and other small items. The straps are wide and sturdy and do not dig into my shoulders nor do they feel like they will rip away from the bag. I would definitely buy this for a friend or family member or maybe another for myself to use for traveling. The price is Amazing!
