Fast and Powerful Kebtek Hand Loppers
Amazing, time saving hand loppers! These are fast and scary powerful. MUST keep focused on what you are doing as inattention while using these could have disatorous consequences. They do have a safety feature where they can sense if your hand not holding the cutter comes into contact with the blade. It has a special procedure to turn on this feature but is not real effective if in high humidity areas, and probably will not function if in rain. Am not sure as I have not yet used it in rain. Also that feature will not work if you are wearing gloves as it needs to be able to sense electrical contact through your skin. I need a glove on off hand as I am constantly cutting thorny brush so have found by using a leather glove with the cuff rolled up and then a chainmail (butchers) glove pulled over the leather glove with a rubberband placed on my wrist to make certain I am grounded to the outer metal chainmail glove through my wrist the safety shut off feature seems to work flawlessly. It will sometimes shut the cut off if in real wet or sappy wood and occassionally will stop a cut as it senses hand contact even when opposite or off hand is a foot or more away from the lopper. In cases like that I have learned to let go of the branch being cut, cut it first, then grab it to move it. Wearing two gloves like this gives me way more peace of mind while using this cutter as it is so fast and powerful. It also has a nice feature where you can reduce the opening size of the blades to one inch. This is handy and faster when cutting lots of smaller branches and also saves a little battery life due to the shorter duration of a smaller cut. I am WAY impressed with these as they are a HUGE timesaver and also save a LOT of work over using manual loppers. I have made right at 3500 cuts with these so far and battery is STILL at 57% of full charge! Cannot go wrong with this tool as long as you are and stay super careful while using them!

Will cut anything you put in it, so watch out!
This is an amazing tool I didn’t know I needed! For decades I’ve used loppers just like everyone else, but got fed up with annoying wrist pain after an hour or so of cutting scrub and decided to find something better. As a man on the Makita platform, my first instinct was to look for a teal tool, but I discovered they had not released their electric pruners on the American market. Further research eventually led me to the Kebtek brand, which I was apprehensive about going with at such a steep price, but the feedback I was seeing was so enthusiastic I figured I would take the plunge. People reviewing them weren’t just happy they worked, they just couldn’t believe the results they were getting out of this no name brand. After using these for awhile now (1500 cuts, yes, it keeps track of that on the device!) I can understand that now! These shears are definitely a professional grade tool, with a quality I would’ve expected if I had been able to get my hands on the Makita equivalent. Firstly, battery life is good, can’t complain, still at 75% after an hour or two. It comes with two batteries, so I suppose if someone had to use this all day they would have enough juice. Secondly, the cutting itself is fantastic. The shears open wide to 40mm (1.575”) and it will cut ANYTHING that fits, so please be careful! This is a nice size, as anything larger is getting into reciprocating saw range anyway. What’s remarkable though is that it actually can handle whatever you can give it. We’ve all encountered manual cutting tools, whether they be loppers, scissors, etc, that simply refuse to budge if you want them to cut something that’s more than half the size of the opening. The KT940 has no such limitations, instantly going thru an inch and a half of hardened dead branch or a bundle of fresh twigs without the slightest hesitation. Hate the expression, but it’s like a knife thru butter. This might actually be a con in a way, because what happens is you’ll find yourself in a thick patch, continuously cutting deep in the scrub, and the shears are so smooth and effortless that you almost forget you’re using this beast to cut branches and you’re not holding puny scissors up to paper. I can’t fault this for doing its job so well, so again, be very cautious always when using these pruning shears!!

PERFECTION !!!
THIS IS 100% ONE OF THE BEST TOOLS I HAVE EVER BOUGHT !!! I CAN GET 1,000 CUTS AND STILL HAVE OVER 70% OF MY BATTERY, NOT TO MENTION IT CUTS THROUGH ANYTHING WOOD THE JAWS FIT AROUND ! BETTER EVEN THAN THAT IS I JUST RECEIVER THE ' LONG REACH ' EXTENSION POLE AND IT IS MADE SO WELL, LIGHT WEIGHT ANS OPERATES SO EASY. DOUBLES THE AMOUT OF AREAS I CAN REACH. BUT THIS TOOL!

It's a beast
Good design. Cuts through branches without any problems. The one down side is that some of the components are flimsy. Had to contact the company twice to get a replacement plastic shell assembly and a replacement trigger switch. No replacement instructions available so have to figure things on your own. Having said that, good customer support, but parts come from China so it's a fairly long wait.

Best tool on the market
The best tool I've purchased in a long time. Easy to use, good battery life. When paired with the extension pole it's does just about everything. The cutting jaws are powerful and quick. Makes quick work of tree and shrub trimming. Wish I would have bought one years ago.

A BEAST OF A PRUNER
The Kebtek KT940 is a beast of a pruner that opens 1.6 inches and chomps through ANYTHING that fits into its jaws. Some other brands OPEN the same distance, but only CUT through branches half that size. The Kebtek's batteries last through a lot of work. I do not have to charge them very often. I highly recommend the Kebtek KT940 pruner. (Unfortunately, the Kebtek accessory extension pole for the KT940 is not so well designed, but it can be modified to work properly).

Great little pruner
These things rock they cut anything that’s made out of wood. Wish I would’ve bought them sooner.

Power secateurs
Brilliant. Does cut green 40mm branches with ease. Dead wood 40mm a little bit more difficult. Battery lasts well. Highly recommend.

The only downside is that it's price has increased.
I bought this in december 2025 for 207,- now it is already 72 euros more expensive. Too bad, as I wanted to order a second set. I consider myself lucky though, because it is a great tool. Al delivered in a sturdy plastic box to keep it safe and sound. And it does what it promises. Been putting it through the test on a platane which offers me up to a 50-70 new branches every year to cut. And now that job becomes real easy. Not only a lot faster but after many branches in a row you safe yourself some cramp in your hands. Goes a long way on one battery. Battery goes on and off indeed a little bit stiff, but if you use your thumb to push it off, it goes pretty good. I can recommend this set to anyone who has an orchard, or bigger garden where pruning isn't just a hobby but a necessity. I speak from experience now more then 4 years owning a bigger garden and orchards. My regular pruning tools are from Felco and Fiskars.

Spectacularly good
Firstly, I've just received these today and I'm amazed. Genuine review from someone with a 3-acre garden, and a lot of nice quality kit, including professional grade secateurs, loppers, saws and chainsaws. I unboxed these and charged the two batteries at the same time in the intelligently designed charger. I've just been out and made 440 cuts (the LCD screen tells you this in case you enjoy OCD!) on mostly big branches: 25-35 mm thick. The cut is fast and clean. Having done something in 20 minutes which would normally have taken over an hour with a range of different tools, these cutters are still showing 100% charge, no sign of damage to the blade edges and the tool is barely warm. Wow! Respect to the team who have designed these. They cut in a way that is almost unbelievable: snip, snip, snip - apparently no strain on the motor. I can't speak for the more budget versions but the 40 mm version is worth every penny. Personally, I'm glad I bought the biggest ones but the 30/35 mm versions may share the same build quality. Clearly, potentially extremely dangerous, they are actually nicely balanced in the hand and easy to use. Just keep your other hand out if the way! Honestly: one of the most impressive tools, of any sort, that I've ever bought.
