I bought this for my sister in law who has dementia to put in her doll (which she had kept since she was a young girl). I sang a local song into it which she always sang to any children. The instructions were simple and easily followed. The recording worked fine and I have played it back a number of times and the quality remains the same. The length of the recording is only 20 seconds but that was long enough for one verse of "My Aunt Jane". The recording was overwritten by my son messing about with it but it recorded again just as easily with no problem. When recording, use a good strong voice as the microphone does not pick up whispers.

This was exactly what I was looking for. The instructions for use were easy to follow to record your message and lock it to avoid accidental rerecording. The speaker is loud and can be heard through many layers of stuffing. The included, preinstalled batteries were a relief!

I bought this for my nan's 90th birthday. She lives in another country and sadly I could not visit at this time. She went blind few years ago and sending a card - and most gifts really - is impractical. I bought a lovely plush bear and looked around for a small voice recorder to record my own voice and put inside. Item was not expensive and arrived very quickly. The sound quality is lovely for what it is. I can't wait for my nan to receive her finished product and hear my voice and have a cuddle whenever she wants! I would highly recommend this idea for any visually impaired loved ones, especially those you cannot visit that often :)

It's a well put-together piece of kit. Follow the instructions and it's a breeze to record and store.I would say that the activation button is quite small, which means you need to be quite direct at the point you squeeze on the bear! I think a bit of circular plastic over the button would have really helped widen the activation area.Sound quality is tinny, but I did kind of expect that!And hey, it's given much joy, so I don't regret the purchase :)

Sound quality, as expected, isn't *great* but definitely no worse than what you'd expect. Personally would have preferred a larger button as it can sometimes be hard to press when inside. Very simple to use and fulfilled its purpose.

This item is very good. It allowed me to record my unborn grand daughter heart beat for her first teddy bear I made her. only about 20 seconds recoding time but perfect for my purpose.

Good quality product. Ideal for stuffed toys.
