Fab, but you must use a toner photocopier.
Works like a dream, but one crucial instruction which is sadly not on the packet : when it says use a photocopy, it means a proper photocopy from a professional type photocopier. The image transfer won't work with ink jet (home printer) ink. You need to use toner ink (the sort from big photocopiers) for this. I got my printing done at local stationery shop for this reason. Also, don't be stingy with the goo when coating your picture. When removing the paper, you must rub from centre of picture out, not from edge in, and remember to use plenty of water. I have a couple of ragga edges where I was careless at the edge- you can get round this by painting a border of the goo onto the paper before applying to the fabric, that was it will be a plain see through bit of image that goes ragga if you aren't gentle at the edge, rather than your image.Hope this helps people! I love this stuff, but was lucky to be taught how to use it properly in textiles class at school. The instructions definitely need a bit of work.

good product
I tried this on a few different surfaces. It works quite well on the more absorbent ones, textiles, leather etc but was no good on wood (it bubbled up) even though it seemed dry after a couple of hours it was better if left overnight. the paper rubbed off more easily and you weren't left with the paper 'bloom'. to such an extent I'm not sure if i ever completely got rid of that, it looks like you've rubbed it all off when it's wet but when it dries it has a white coating where there is paper left on the image. you do need to gently rub that off afew times. I didn't have a huge amount of patience and it was only trial pieces for college so only got one that was almost completely off.once the image is transferred it leaves the fabric with a plastic, heavy feel that is ok maybe for a fun t shirt but not what I wanted.

Very good product
I used this on a small canvas to create a print transfer as an experimentation for my Graphics classes.Being a little bit dubious and having spent a fortune generally on expensive products that promise the earth but don't deliver I must admit I didn't have high hopes for this product at first.Despite having to keep gently rubbing the paper left from the print out away and the finished surface being slightly uneven, I was left with an impressive distressed edged strong image. I didn't need more than one tube either. Small canvases are fairly cheap to obtain and if you do a colour photocopy of a photograph and transfer using the Image Maker it would make great gift!Recommended.

Expensive for what it can do
I was going to buy the bigger size pack but thought I would best try it first. It takes a lot of product to make up one image, by the time you go through the process of wetting and peeling off the paper, some of the image is gone or damaged. I would rather used Ink jet paper transfer, quicker and easier to use not to mention that it works out cheaper. Would I buy this again? I think not!

A waste of money
I bought this so my daughter could transfer photos she liked onto her school bag......the product just did not work and we have had to throw a brand new school bag away as a result of the stained mess we were left with!
