Verbatim 43426 52x Vinyl CD-R - Slim Case 10 Pack

Sometimes I can't be bothered leaving reviews but in this case I am compelled to. These retro looking CD-R's are a brilliant idea & are a quality item, as all Verbatim products are. They burn & play faultlessly I use them when I've digitised old vinyl records to my computer and want a copy on CD, (even though they can be burned at high speed, I burn at the slowest speed so not to end up with a disk that doesn't work after finalizsation) they look like an old record which is perfect for old nostalgic vinyl loving people like me😆

Bought 3 more packs after the first in different colours as I have a large CD collection and like to make my own CDs too. They look great especially when playing as I’ve a top loader. No issues with them unlike another lot I bought online.

Great CD's to use to compile your own Music Collections. The CD's themselves created no burn errors, and were very easily read by all of my usual equipment, Stereo, CD Player, Boom Box, Car CD Player etc. I love the Golden Oldie record look of the top surface, they were also easy to write on to, however I suggest a small tipped permanent marker is needed as my Thick Sharpie pens did not allow much info to be stored. Only giving these CD's 4 Stars, not because they were defected in any way, nor because they were bad performers. the loss of a Star is due to the flimsy CD Box that they come with. it will fall apart in two after several uses, and it is somewhat rigid in construction , great care must be taken when putting the discs in and out of the case to avoid scratching the data side. I therefore put my recorded CD's into plain flimsy sleeves, which I have found to actually be more protective of my recordings.

These items really do look like miniature 7" vinyl, and they write and read well enough in just about any CD re-writer. You get 10 discs in the pack with 5 different label colours (blue, red, etc.) Each disk is in a slimline jewel case. The only problem I had was that the person's hi-fi system I was burning a disc for didn't read CDRs, so all my work was in vain. I kept the discs an was able to make use of them for myself.

I use these for data as well as music. I like the vinyl appearance, so I tend to save them for music. I think they're pretty good quality, as I can record an audio CD at full-speed (52x in my PC) and it's playable on all the CD-players I've tried so far. Looking at the recording-surface of a completed CD, I can see the "burnt" area by eye, just like on a shop-bought CD. I had noticed that with some other brands of CD I couldn't see this, and noticed that I had to reduce my recording speed to 4x or 8x to get the resultant CDs to work in conventional players.

This is my second purchase of these they are fantastic to record music on , I used to buy them from HMV but they stopped selling them for some reason . I’m so glad I was able to find them on here and will definitely purchase them again.

Ha llegado en la fecha indicada y el producto me encanta no he probado a grabar aún pero sólo el aspecto es genial. Lo encuentro un producto muy original. Una idea retro muy buena.

Works perfect in Sony DIscman D-181 from 1998, and it's not even CD-R/RW compatible
