How much of the seasoning do you use for 5 or 10lbs of meat I don't want to make a full batch of 25 lbs

Each 10 oz. bag of Maple Flavored Seasoning does 25 lbs. of meat. So the ratio is .4 oz. of seasoning per 1 lb. of meat. A 5 lb. batch would need 2 oz. of seasoning. A 10 lb. batch would need 4 oz. of seasoning. Approximately 2 tablespoons = 1 dry oz.

Is the product gluten free?

I don’t know about the gluten part, but the flavor is very dull... I used double the recommendation and it still gave no flavor.

Does this work good for making venison sausage?

Makes great venison sausage. The mix is a little weak in my opinion. I use a bag to 15 lbs of meat instead of 25 lbs. Also when making sausage from venison I add more beef fat. If you don't it will cook up dry. I mix mine about 25% fat.

Can u use it for smoked sausage patties

I made patties to freeze and they turned out fine. I don’t see why it would be a problem.
