Pretty Good Jig
I like that this jig has markings for measurement that go all the way to the edge so its easy to center on the cabinet door. It is also easy to adjust so you can make sure your cabinet hardware looks the same on each cabinet. Oh, it is also all metal which is great for durability and it won't flex when you are using it. My only gripe is that the thumb screws are in a place where they are way to close to the face of the cabinet so its hard to tightening them.

Great jig for occasional use
Okay, if you're a pro who is going to be using this daily, move right along, there's nothing to see here. You should just pony up the big bucks for the best, The Original, cry once, buy once, and don't mess around. But of the knock-offs, this is one of the, if not the, best.Solid, all metal construction, nicely machined. While you can drill right through the 5mm bushings, you'll eventually regret it.Do yourself a favor and get an automatic center punch or a 5mm transfer punch, mark the holes to be drilled, remove the jig, and drill, using a good quality brad point bit. Fisch makes good bits that are readily available. If you're doing a large number of identical faces, you'd be better off building a custom jig with hardened bushings that clamps into place. What are you sacrificing to save a fair amount of money?Rigidity and durability. While pretty good, this just isn't as solidly built. This is limited to a 16" reach (32" drawer) if you use the edge guide. More than enough for most cases, and you can always mark the center and use the locating notch instead. For recessed panel faces (think Shaker) you'll need to tape on some shims for stable placement, no easy adjusting screw pads on this one.No carrying case.Doesn't break down as small for storage, as easily.Really, this is pretty darn good, unless you need the very best.

Easy To Use, Durable
This jig makes drilling holes for cabinet hardware quick and consistent. It has a solid build quality, is easily adjusted and locks securely in place. Once it has been adjusted for cabinet doors, all the doors in a kitchen can be completed without making any changes. The same is true for any drawers that have the same width.I have no problem recommending this product. I wouldn’t install cabinet hardware without such a jig.

Perfect holes every time
This is a game changer if you are building anything that needs holes drilled for hardware. If you have ever tried to get the exact spacing for drilling holes with a jig like this you know what a pain it can be and time consuming. This jig makes it very simple and easy to get the perfect spacing and saves so much time. Now a couple things I don’t like. Fully assembled it takes up quite a bit of space and in order to store it you have to disassemble it completely or deal with it taking up extra space. It took me a few minutes to figure out how everything went together the first time (instructions could be better). Would I buy this again? Without a doubt I definitely would. For the price of this jig I could buy 4 of these and still have money left for the price of one of the name brand ones.

Great tool
I restore old furniture and remodel a lot around our home which means we sometimes switch out cabinet/drawer hardware. This tool is wonderful for making sure you drill the new holes to match the spacing on the new hardware. Too many times I have measured the distance, drilled the holes and the hardware was off just a tiny bit which messes up everything. This will be a time saver

All metal construction but has one quirk and was missing a couple parts
We ordered some bathroom cabinets from a big box store that came without any hardware. The door and drawers have raised panels. This is far from the only cabinets I will need to install hardware on, so I decided to try this jig out.The Good: - There is no plastic; every part is metal. This is great and definitely my preference, but it can scratch your cabinets if you're not careful. I recommend putting some masking tape on the back and any spot that will contact the wood to keep it from marring the finish. - All markings are clear and easy to read. They are in both inches and centimeters. I like how the horizontal bar has the markings going out from the center which makes it very easy to center the jig on the door/drawer. - The jig is fairly versatile and allows you to drill consistently spaced holes. The Bad: - The instructions and product description state it comes with two 8" extensions for longer doors. Mine did not include these. There were spots for them in the packing foam but no extensions. - The jig is easy to align, but it is tough to tighten the clamps while in place because the thumb screws are tight against the cabinet and are hard to get your fingers around to tighten them. There is a lot of potential with this jig, and it was pretty easy to get perfect holes for the door and drawer pulls. I just wish it was easier to tighten the clamps. Also, the price is fairly high, and I didn't even get everything that was advertised.
