Palliative and End-of-Life Care: Clinical Practice Guidelines

Good, comprehensive information, a little more technical than I have time to read right now, working long hours as a new Nurse practitioner in Palliative Care. But I am glad to have it for a reference.

Being new to hospice (RN) i wanted to have resources that would be helpful, i found this book to be VERY useful and help me understand more about hospice and end of life care, seasoned nurses asked to borrow to review!

Good basic information regarding palliative care. Nursing is ever changing, therefore new practices are appropriate since this publication.

I have used this as a reference starting out in the Palliative Care speciality and it has been great. This is a good resource for those just beginning in the field of Palliative care and hospice.

This is a great book but the publication date is 2007. A lot of the information in the book is outdated and many of the clinical recommendations have changed. :(

Book has a lot of information. Not the easiest read. Approximately 10 pages have fallen out of the binding when turning the page and I'm only like 1/4 though it.

Great book. Just want I needed as a new practitioner to palliative care. Several references listed within. Great to have desk reference!
