ORBITB-hyve Smart Hose Faucet Timer with Wi-Fi Hub, & Drip Adapter Compatible with Alexa

I have purchased 4 of these now. Very easy to set up and use. I did find that the range is much better if the control module is oriented in the vertically direction. I don't know if that is normal or not, but that's what I have experienced. Also, would prefer that the local on/off not require holding the button for 3 seconds. I lesser delay would be better.

This is a remarkable product allowing you to time or manually turn on and off your water for irrigation or sprinkling from anywhere using internet and WiFi. The timer uses blue tooth so you need the hub for WiFi/internet control. The App that runs it from your smart phone is outstanding. The two major criticisms are (1) the Quick start guide is inaccurate in telling you to push various buttons once to pair the devices, you actually have to push each button five times in succession. (2) the hose adaptor isn’t compatible with just any plastic half inch tubing so don’t buy tubing until you receive the timer and take the adapter to a hardware store and try various sizes vinyl tubes for the right outer diameter that fits.
