11/10/22 Update: This case absolutely protected my phone until that fateful night when the troll under the bridge got angry when, while on a walk, my big husky/malamute buddy decided to empty his bladder, right on the troll's head. In retaliation, he sent a small group of gremlins to steal my phone while I was in 7-11. Once my phone was in the gremlin's sweaty grip, the gremlin group proceeded through the parking lot. Suddenly, my phone slipped, flew from his sweaty grip and in slow motion, tumbled through the air until it hit the pavement, face down. I immediately froze, praying that my screen was unbroken.. It wasn't.. It wasn't a small crack, the whole screen was shattered.This case caught my eye when browsing to find one for my friend's expensive new Samsung. I already had a decent case on my phone but that one was lacking a kickstand or pop-socket implement. The first surprise was when i received it a day early. The second was finding a "pop-socket" included in the package although it has its own built-in prop & the third was finding that it does exactly what it's advertised to do (imagine that!) I dropped my phone on the bathroom floor in such a way that it hit, corner first which is often a death sentence for a phone screen. After a thorough inspection, my phone is still in perfect condition.PROS: The case is made of heavy plastic with a glossy appearance. There are gold accents around the edges along with different gold heart symbols on one side and a bigger heart on the back underneath the prop/stand. The whimsical astronaut prop on the back is not only functional, it's cute and holds my phone upright without slipping. The cutouts are perfectly positioned & the gold buttons are a nice finishing touch which adds an air of elegance.CON(S): The glossy finish not only shows smudges & fingerprints, but the ridge detail of each fingerprint is so clear that a forensic exam could easily identify that pesky burglar who only touches things that don't belong to him while he's in your house. (Which also doesn't belong to him!)If you are looking for an inexpensive phone case that offers your phone a layer of protection, you've come to the right little corner of Amazon. This is definitely one of the many, many things on Amazon that you had no idea you needed..

Great case, cute, works well

Mind you, this was purchased for an 8-year old's phone. He wanted it for the color and design. My daughter said it probably won't last long, but it fits his phone, fits comfortably in his hands and he loves it, so that's all that matters to me.

The pop up astronaut juts out too much when folded. If it were somehow inset into a groove when not in use, it would make it more packable in pocket or bag/purse. Nice for kids and cutesy and good to have for other phone models and brands.

I totally love my phone cover. I was a little skeptical because of previous more expensive covers purchased. I had not heard of this brand before. However, it is a little flexible and snaps right on to your phone. The only thing I wish was it came with a screen protector. I purchased one that was supposed to fit my phone and it really didn't fit as well. I love the colors, black and gold. It actually leveled up my phone. It really durable. I have dropped it 7 times. No cracks or scratches. Because the phone is large the little Astronaut on the back is so helpful. He really does stand up to the test as well. A feature on my phone turns off notifications when face down. Since I have the case, it keeps my- phone from becoming scratched up. I have had a lot of inquiries about where I purchase mine. I plan to purchase two more for my phone soon. It is totally worth a try. Keep in mind the astronaut is a bit 2D. However, it is not bulky.
