Do the window decals peel off windows easily and cleanly if you want to take them off?

The decals peel off much like other window decals...just remember, these decals go on the outside of the window. I just removed some of the older decals that I have today so I could wash windows and they left no trace behind.

Can these be applied somehow to the * inside* of the window? The windows where we need to put them are on the third story.

Well my colorful butterflies are on the inside and no matter what kind of light is on in the room an oak Titmouse bangs into it daily so I believe you need the UV ones on the outside meaning I will have to get out an extension ladder. But our windows are only 10-15 feet up! I see others have had success. I believe this is because we get a limited amount of light on these windows which also have an anti glare treatment. Another alternative is hanging 3 or 4 old cds together or long reflective streamers from your upper window like they do in wine country or if you have a tree next to the window. My butterflies do look beautiful in my laundry room.

Want to protect birds at the window feeder but am worried will this scare them away from it?

I don't think so. I don't have a feeder around and they still come on porch. Did have a bird fly into window, couple of times. It was more like it may have been going after insect than trying to fly through window, so not 100% sure if these work or not. Other than that bird, have not had issue.

Do they stick well on the outside?

Yes. I put mine on the outside (that's where they're supposed to go) and they are in perfect shape. Mine are in a covered porch area exposed to the weather, but protected from direct rain. They seem very substantial and no birds have hit our windows (sliding glass doors) since we installed them.

Easy to apply and seems to work!

I purchased the smaller, round decals known as "modern dots", to stop the outdoor house sparrows from flying into my large bay window. They are slightly larger than a quarter coin and went on easy enough. I was pleased at how many were included in the purchase. I applied them to the OUTSIDE of my window as instructed, and so far (one week in) no bird strikes.I can see the decals from the inside and outside, but it's not too bad looking. I included a pic so you can see if you see the decals too. The 15 decals (so half the package) are all over my window and are more noticeable when there's a dark object behind them (like a tree), but hard to see them when a light object is behind them (like the sky). Can you count all 15? Some are very hard to see! I do recommend this product - gotta take care of the birds!

Best Window strike protection

These are the best to keep the birds from hitting your windows. Since we got our new windows and we don’t use Blinds we were having bird strikes. I got these in. These are amazing. You do need to replace them every 4 months.

Window decals didn’t ward off the morning doves.

These leaf decals didn’t stop the doves from committing suicide on my windows. The morning after I applied them a dove flew right into my sliding glass door, within 6 inches of a leaf decals.This was about 7 am, on the west exposure, so there was no sunshine on the windows. Perhaps these need direct sunshine to work as described. Will try more colorful decals when I order again.
