The blade of the naginta is HQCS carbon steel already sharpened with a black blade and silver edge. The scabbard of the naginata is hardwood finished black with a dragon etched into the wood. The shaft can be dissassembled and used as a sword. Review: Beautiful for display - It is really cool and very sharp. I hit my straw grass with it & bent the handle. It's not meant for landscaping. I am keeping it handy incase I see snakes in my yard. It's a constant thing in FL. It is really a cool piece & worth the price. Beautiful for display

Simply Awesome
This is one of my favorite pieces in my current collection. The quality was far greater than i expected for the price. I was blown away when it arrived before i expected it. The seller was fast and well... just look at it... it is a piece of art.

63" Broad Head Japanese Samurai Naginata
I wasn't expecting much when I first bought this item as I have seen all the bad comments about poor quality and the incapacity of actually using the blade. More to that, I'd like to add that my blade was pre-owned and brutally tortured to the point that I have no choice but to spell "parabola" again after all the painstaking years of high school...Yes, I can rest assure you that my naginata is in the shape of a parabola. However, the overall quality is okay for practice. For all those who played with the blade -- No! You don't play or do jumping jacks with a NAGINATA and the ultimate reason why it is not allowed in some places is that you're scaring people by cutting holes on your bodies . And as for the price I have decided to leave 3 stars for the overall quality and the protective sheath for the blade(it really should be included in the preview picture too). Focus more on the durability of your products and there will be a great market waiting for you.

Cheap product came loose and falling apart. I returned it . Amazon was great, just bad product. I don't know why my reviews are getting erased!

NICE, BUUUUT
IT LOOKS NICE BUT IF I WERE TO USE IT IT LOOKS LIKE IT MIGHT BREAK. WHAT PERSON IN THEIR RIGHT MIND HAS A SCREW IN BLADE. THATS RIGHT, YOU HAVE TO SCREW IN THE BLADE. NOT TO MENTION THE LITTLE GOLD STOPPER THING ISNT ON THERE PERFECTLY. BUT IT DES LOOK PRETTY COOL.
