The height from the bottom bunk is not standard height. I have a 10" mattress on the bottom and I can't even make the bottom bed up without hitting my head. I'd hate to wake up in the middle of the night and forget how low it is. It's a full bottom bunk, so an adult or teenager would be sleeping in it, not a small child. It is 24" rather than the standard 32" from the bottom slats to the slats from the top bunk.

They should put more wood mattress holder ..they are too far apart from each other

I really like how this bunk bed looks, the instructions are easy to follow once you understand and organize all pieces in order. I recommend some power tools that have the same tool needed for the screws. I am disappointed in some quality of a few pieces finishes, we have some dents, scratches and two key pieces missing. But overall the bunk bed looks nice and very sturdy.

I only received half the parts to build the bed! I was really looking forward to putting this in my kids room. What a shock when half of it was never delivered.
