Paw (Plain) : Metal Stamp Design Punch Craft Tool (70)

This is a small but effective stamp, the paw pattern is clear and has remained deeply embossed in the leather. Excellent value

Purchased this to do some Xmas pet gifts and although I love the paw I am a little disappointed at the depth imprint it makes but having said that it’s good value for money

Gave a very clear imprint on leather.Size is in the advert so ignore complaints about it being small than expected.If they made a bigger one I.would buy it in a heartbeat.Good quality, especially at this price.

It arrived quickly and is easy to use and perfect for what I needed it for.

I was skeptical about the quality of this stamp for the price.... but it's much better than I expected!I found using a 1lb hammer I couldn't get a good enough imprint (despite hitting it a few times) , so used a 2lb hammer & 2 whacks and was left with a clean imprint. BUT.... the actual outline thickness is very narrow and ive found it isn't wide enough to hold any colour put in it. Ive tried all my usual methods and resorted to using enamel paint, but being so thin it's still not as I would liked. My stamp is also slightly off centre so I'd advise marking the side facing you with a line so you can be certain you have the centre of the design in the correct place.It's a good price and well worth buying however, especially if your budget is tight, just be mindful the design left is thin and shallow.

Wanted to use to stamp soft metal keyfobs (brass and aluminium) but problem I have is that unlike the picture on the advert the impression on the stamp is poorly cast and has lumps of metal left in the paw pads. When I have time I will try using engraver to clean up the stamp. At the moment when trying to stamp metal because of the lumps left in the casting it just doesn't work! I should add I bought two of these stamps and both are the same so it's not a case of a single bad batch.
