Atlin Designs Full Size Daybed Wall Bed with Wooden Slats in Engineered Wood, in Ivory, No Box Spring Needed, Easy Assembly, Up to 600 lbs Weight Capacity

It was a little daunting to put together but awesome once done.

First, it came in 3 separate deliveries while I wasn't home. I couldn't lift two of the boxes by myself, and had to get help. Upon unpacking, every piece was filthy. I carried each piece up 2 flights of stairs. As I began to assemble, I noticed that ~40% of the boards were damaged (see photos). After emailing Customer Service the photos, this was their reply:"Thank you for reaching out. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you, however, I am happy to help resolve it for you. Fortunately, your item is backed by a 1-year warranty. Why do I have to go through all that? Where else would I get this pile of garbage? The boards are very heavy, so I'd have to carry them back downstairs, then dispose of them, then hope the new parts aren't damaged upon arrival as well. No thanks. I decided to use wood glue and paint to repair, which cost me an extra week of waiting to settle, dry, etc.Next, it's impossible to assemble with only one person, so again, I had to get help. On top of that, the screws and attachments are cheap, and break easily. The boards are uneven, and the screws / openings don't line up.To top it all off....after spending about 20 hours in total over several days of doctoring this thing together, all I could smell was the off-gassing of the material. It's been over a week with the windows open, and an air purifier in the room, yet all I smell is chemicals.This bed has been a complete and utter nightmare and time-suck. The shipping of such a large and heavy item is NOT practical. 30% of this bed could have been preassembled. And if the smell doesn't dissipate soon, I'll have to pay someone to come in and disassemble / remove it because it's too much for one person. I'd have to do the same to return it, although it's not returnable. Thieves. DO NOT BUY THIS!
