Fiesta 5-Piece Place Setting, White

I love the fact that they are made in the USA..and I have been looking and looking to find dishes made here. Honestly, I have been looking in the stores and online for a new set of dishes for FOREVER! I'm very happy with the quality, color, packaging, PRICE and need I say more? I will mention that I found one tiny miniscule pinhole blemish in the side of a coffee cup and another blemish (teeny-tiny black dot) in the base of a saucer. I am still rating these dishes a 5 because I'm so happy I found these and overall I think the quality far surpasses what I have been seeing in the stores. My husband was a factor in all this too since he is super picky about his cereal bowl..go figure. Anyway, he loves the cereal bowl. I don't know why a new set of dishes is such a big deal here but it is and we are very happy with these and I will add more to my set. By the way, I had these in my Amazon cart for over a month and was still on the fence until I saw a display at Kohl's Department Store and finally had the chance to see and hold in person and I realized I really liked the quality and that Amazon was cheaper and freeeeeee shipping!!! You cant beat that! The only downside is you have to breakdown all of the cardboard to recycle..and I'm sure if you bought these at a department store there would be some cardboard to break down anyway. :)

The Homer Laughlin Company is one of the few American companies left that make ceramic dinnerware. I've used Fiestaware for many years and have never had a problem. Their stuff is rock-solid and dependable. My shipment from Amazon arrived securely packaged and unbroken. Sturdy enough for everyday use, pretty enough for special occasions. Why take a chance with cheaper (and more risky) Chinese imports, which may contain lead or other undesirable elements? Fiestaware is made in America, and will last for generations if properly cared for. Just check some of the prices of older pieces on eBay. It's not only great dinnerware, but an investment.

After 12 years, it was time for new daily dinnerware. I'm selective and shopped for months. My favorite color is purple and this is not a common color for dishes. My daughter's favorite color is orange. I found the Fiesta collection and I love that it comes in so many colors. I'll be an empty-nester in the next few years, so I decided to purchase sets in purple and orange. These are sturdy and microwave, oven and dishwasher safe. I'm certain they will last and she'll be able to take her orange set with her. In the meantime, they compliment each other lovely. As a side note, I will purchase the larger mug separately. The teacup/ mug that comes with these sets are far too small.

This is the best color yet. I have lots of different colors of Fiestaware and my favorites can change from season to season. However, my husband loves the new Lapis color the best. It looks great with almost any other color plate, and I love to mix and match different colors at different times of the year. I first began purchasing Fiestaware because it was lead free, but now I love the appeal of the color combinations. No longer do I use other plates or dishes that are not lead free. Since I now have so many colors, I love the combinations that match the season. For example, lemongrass or shamrock and scarlet at Christmas...Marigold and Tangerine at Thanksgiving...However, my husband is very set in his ways and happy with Lapis!

I started collecting fiesta slowly a few years ago, but when I got serious, I picked up a few place settings like this one. The 5-pieces are rarely in stores like the 4 piece settings are, but I think they're worth ordering online. I like having a tea-cup and saucer vs the circle-handled mug. I don't often use the teacups (except for on days when I'm feeling like a little moderation in my ice-cream consumption) but the saucers get used all the time - bread & butter plate, prep plate, little snack, bagel in the morning. It's definitely worth the few extra bucks to go 5 vs 4. I'm excited to begin sharing the love with my little sister (who expressed her interest in the dishes over Christmas) - a couple 5 piece settings are likely to wind up at her door for college graduation in the Spring. I can't think of a better way to welcome her to adult life than getting her a few sets of these fantastic dishes.

I purchased this color to go with my other colors that I have had for several years now. These dishes withstand the abuse of being dropped, banged in the sink, cut with the sharp knives, stacked endless and they still look brand new. I would never purchase any other brand of dishes after having these. The customer service at the Homer Laughlin Co. Is also exceptional. One of my previous purchases, not from Amazon, was broken and they sent a replacement out right away. The best part is these dishes are made in the USA. Absolutely quality at its best!

These are modern day china for people who don't want to spend a fortune. They're extremely durable and can take a beating. We have a bunch of different colors and we're hooked. Awesome price, awesome plates, great concept. The colors are amazing and really bring out any table. They don't scratch easily either. They are just a little heavy (maybe not the best for an 80 yr old to be lifting) but I'm never going back to old plates. -Happy Customer

Although declared as "seconds", I could barely detect any major imperfections or scratches. I love FiestaWare - plum is my 7th color (which I believe has been retired 😔) and I absolutely love it! Will be using this set when my sister comes to visit; she loves anything in purple or violet. BTW, price for the set was very reasonable. I'm so glad I didn't pass on this.
