The media could not be loaded.  I have become “addicted” to building Lego sets and various “off” brands. I thoroughly enjoyed putting this set together and I’m thrilled with the finished piece! It works beautifully (moving parts!) and the peaceful music (from Studio Ghibli’s “Castle in the Sky”) is lovely. Many of the pieces are quite small (and lighter weight than Lego), but all the better for maintaining my dexterity (the excuse I use for building all the sets I’ve purchased!).

This was a great purchase. Fun to assemble and the finished product is adorable.

I have not yet completed the model. It will take time and patience. I believe it’s best suited for adults and teenagers. The pieces are tiny and the instructions, while accurate, are tedious to follow.

Putting this together is a job, it's going to take some time. Not for young children, many adults will enjoy the challenge. It is building blocks, but it's more like a puzzle. It could have been sorted better, would have been nice to not have to sort almost 800 pieces. The end is worth the work, it's a very cute music box, plus you have the pleasure of knowing you built it!

This is a very pretty set of building blocks. Good quality and well packaged.Instruction is easy to follow but some places are easy to fall apart.

The media could not be loaded.  Overall, this is a really great fun little building block music box. I enjoyed putting it together. The instructions were very clear and the quality is great. It took me a couple of days to put it all together (probably about 4-5 hours). This is so very nearly a 5 star product. My biggest complaint is that there are 4 separate bags of all the pieces and the instructions have 41 steps. I intuitively thought that the first 10 steps were in bag 1, the second 10 in bag 2 and so on, but this is not the case. There are 799+ (there are extras you won't use) pieces to put this together, and I come to find out that you have to open all 4 bags and basically sort all 799+ pieces before assembly. Sorting the pieces took me about an hour alone. I really wish they had a different way of packaging these so that you don't have to sort through so many pieces before getting started building. Also, it is labelled as 6+. I do not see many 6 year olds that would have the patience to put all this together, especially without losing a bunch of the many small pieces in the process. Overall, I really enjoyed the time of putting this together, and the end product is adorable, but I see this as an older child's toy or for adults that enjoy these sorts of things.

I had a great time making this one. It has so many details and moving parts that it kept my brain and hands busy for a couple hours. The finished product is very attractive although I keep having to fiddle with it to keep the moving parts working correctly, that’s probably my error though. I’m really in love with all the little details like the multitude of windows and the little indoor decorations. It truly looks like an old shabby-chic windmill. This is by far one of my favorite brands for building toys and they always serve up great quality. The pieces are small but they snap together well and fit as they should, instructions are very clear, and finishing product is as advertised.

A very fun project. Not the easiest to put together. Better for teens or older. Turns out great though. Love it. 10/10 would recommend!
