These are nice lamps. No, they are not as nice as the more expensive ones, but they work just as they should. The downside is that there is no separate controller in the lamps, everything is built into the light bulbs. So, if and when the bulbs burn out then you are stuck with some cheap light stands.

I literally use these every time I create content and they always set the scene. You have options between warm, cold and white, so there’s something for every occasion. Having two lights is an absolute must for me, so I’m not disappointed in my purchase.

Easy to setup and put back in the bag. The sandbags are super helpful because it's such a lightweight setup. The white gloves to help take the lights in and out are also helpful. The only part that took me a minute to understand was opening and closing the material around the light bulbs. You have to push the black part (that holds the light in place), really firmly where the light bulb sits to open up the soft box to its full width. And when going to close it, you have to pull it in a bit more firmly than I initially thought. I'm pretty weak and it felt

Update: after a long battle, I was able to get a refund from Amazon without having to return it. I used the refund to buy another set of these lights and they came with remotes this time. Original review: The lights seem nice, but without the remotes you can't adjust the color temperature, so I only have 1 option: very warm. I tried contacting the seller, but to no avail. I don't want to pack it all back up and haul it to a UPS Store for a return, I just want to receive the missing parts so I can use the product, why is that so hard?

It is not a premium lighting system, those can cost thousands of dollars. It does work, and reliably so. I can only speak to my use which is capturing art indoors. The lamps are bright. They don't shake, so unless you have people walking around you don't need the sandbags. They are easy to assemble and light to carry. They are yellow lights by default, I would suggest to the manufacture they make them neutral instead. Even if you shoot on the white setting they have a warm tint. This is easy to resolve by just buying a white point or grey scale photography card. Keep it in frame, use the white eyedropper in the color tab in PS, and your tint is accurate by clicking on the card in frame. I would expect a more expensive system allows you to accurately set the Kelvin to avoid this. If you are shooting objects and don't mind light correcting in post, these lights are a bargain.

After looking up many videos showing how to light your table for making art videos I decided to get this set of lights. They’re very bright, the soft boxes work well, and I like how easy it is to alter the warmth and intensity of the light. The tripods feel quite sturdy even at the highest setting and the added sand bag is a great idea (although I didn’t use them). I did have an issue with one of the umbrella mechanisms on one of the soft boxes but emailed the company and they send a replacement quickly. So far it seems like a great value and I’m happy with the purchase.

Pedí el set para un pequeño proyecto. Pedí las de forma hexagonal. Me encantaron, iluminan muy bien y traen un control para hacerlas más versátiles al modificar la temperatura de la luz. Estoy realmente sorprendida. Por el precio son adecuadas. Son algo ligeras , pero con las bolsas de peso se puede ayudar mucho a la estabilidad. Sólo hay una parte que me preocupa por fragilidad, y es la que embona el “paraguas” al triple. Hay que manejarlo con cuidado. Creo que son excelentes para personas que van comenzando, o si no quieres invertir demasiado , también si quieres algo muy portátil que no sea pesado.

For the price, the lights work very well, they illuminate quite well, ideal for a photography studio. I only gave them 4 stars because the tripods to put the lights are very thin and not very strong.
