Silverline Hand Magnet 11kg Capacity (250000)

This is a powerful magnet that has a myriad of uses. It is much smaller than I imagined it would be but that doesn't affect its performance. I bought it because we burn a lot of old wooden palettes on our fire and the magnet is brilliant at extracting all the nails from the ashes afterwards - just wave it over the top and the nails leap out.

I wanted a magnet to test pans for a new cooker. My husband said No! too expensive. so what a gem this tough little magnet is with more strength than belies its small size . 11kg. What a bargain.

I used a nail-gun to clad my static caravan, which really made the process a lot easier. The only downside was that I found I was dropping a fair few nails due to misfiring, whatever. Having a dog I didn't want to just leave the nails sitting in the grass so I decided to purchase this magnet. I attached it to a bit of string and was astonished at how many nails it collected when I dangled it around the van. Job done.

Without checking the size you mAy be expecting something bigger.....man hands like mine make it seem more like a finger magnet rather than a hand magnet , nether the less it’s a decent magnet to pick stuff up

Perfect for testing whether your pans will work on an induction hob. And it's always useful to have a strong magnet available in the house. I keep mine stuck to the base of an old flat iron.

To small

I purchased it to get the nails out of the ashes of the wood stove after a burn. I put it in a plastic bag to keep it clean and use it that way. I'm pleased with the magnet.
