6 Step Ladder, Foldable 6 Step Stool, Gold

I just received this ladder earlier today and have already unboxed it and used it in my library, which has books on shelves up to about 12 feet. I will say that it is exactly what I was looking for: light weight, sturdy, stylish, and very functional. I can easily carry it across the room or store it away in a closet (check the ladder height shown to ensure it will fit in your storage space). So, I’m very happy with it. The only reason I would have given it a 4.5 star rating is because it arrived with several dents - top cross bar and long ribs that the steps are attached to. They will do nothing to diminish the function of the ladder and are fairly minimal in appearance. It’s just disappointing to receive an otherwise perfect product in such a condition. It’s also probably not the manufacturer at fault here, most likely UPS. Anyway, I’m going to keep the one I received as it’s not worth the trouble to obtain an exchange. I would encourage anyone considering this ladder to strongly consider it.

I bought this step ladder instead of putting pull-down attic stairs in my tiny house, and it has worked out perfectly. It slides right into a little cubby hole when I’m not using it, and when I need to get up into the loft or attic space, I just pull it out and set it up. It’s very sturdy, and I can easily carry boxes up and down without feeling unstable. It’s so much better than using a regular ladder, and honestly, I like it better than having bulky pull-down attic stairs. It’s tall enough that I can reach everything I need to and get in and out of the attic space with no problem having the handle up top works perfectly for safety. And as a bonus, the color actually matches my bathroom!

This ladder is not only nice quality but also stunning!

I was looking for a very tall step ladder that opened and folded fairly easily, is slim when folded, isn’t too heavy, and could help me (5’) reach almost to the ceiling - which is quite high in several of the rooms in my home. There is no assembly so that part is great. Unfortunately, the first one I ordered had a giant dent in the top handle. The wrapping was missing in that exact spot and the box looked as if it had previously been opened (which made me think it had already been returned once for the same reason, but that’s just a guess on my part). To be honest, based on reviews, I wasn’t expecting it to be perfect, but it was so smashed I returned it and requested a new one. The return process was amazing - it was picked up off of my porch for me which was fantastic because the box is quite large. The second ladder arrived and I unboxed it and it was in much better condition, however there are still some scratches and small dents. If you have read reviews you’ll see that is common. If you’re going to be using it fairly regularly, it will definitely get scratched and dented along the way. I went in knowing that it would probably have them on arrival, but also that since it dents and scratches so easily that I would cause some of my own damage (although this isn’t ideal, it is realistic). I decided it was in good enough shape and kept it. While I’m bummed knowing it will scratch and dent easily, I really enjoy it. Due to the scratching/dents I don’t think it would work well as a “display” ladder, but it’s excellent as an every day, extra tall step ladder. As long as you know when purchasing to pretty much expect at least some damage, you won’t be disappointed. It is still much prettier than any other step ladder of any size I’ve ever seen and overall I am very happy with my purchase!

I bought this 6-step ladder for a New York City apartment, which means real estate is at a premium and storage is... well, nonexistent. Because it has to spend its life leaning against the wall in plain sight, I was thrilled to find that the light woodgrain finish is actually gorgeous. It genuinely looks like a deliberate piece of modern decor rather than a utilitarian eyesore! Beyond its good looks, it’s incredibly lightweight and easy to maneuver through tight spaces. But don't let the featherweight feel fool you; it is structurally solid. We put it to the ultimate test with our beloved, "pleasantly plump" handyman, and it held his weight effortlessly without a single wobble or creak. If you need to reach 12-foot ceilings but don't want an ugly metal monstrosity ruining your apartment's vibe, this is the one. Functional, sturdy, and oddly fashionable!

After ordering two other step ladders that were incredibly heavy, required assembly, etc., I am extremely pleased that I found this ladder. Carefully packed, no assembly required, very sturdy, yet light to carry, and neatly stored in narrow spaces. Excellent choice if you want to avoid other options that require assembly, contact with walls, amongst other headaches, to reach the same ceiling height(s).

My original review is below. The update is that after just a few uses, it's bowing, and there are the signs of creasing forming along the vertical uprights. It appears like these stressed areas will simply fold at some point. Rather than guess when that date might be, I'm stopping the use of the product and buying a real ladder. I had concerns noticing this early on, and should have acted on those concerns while the return window was still open. I am on the higher side, but well within, the weight rating the description lists. I am not carrying heavy items up or down with me kr leaning out far, or doing any other exacerbating things. Just climbing, reaching overhead, for changing light bulbs in my 10ft ceiling garage for instance. Maybe if you're a lightweight individual, your confidence and experience would be higher. Original review after first use: I can't be but so disappointed as it's about the cheapest ladder of this height, but it is a little sketch. It gets too wobbly if I'm on the upper half of the steps, and I have to tinker with the footing of it to feel at all planted. If I'm careful it'll work fine, not a ton of margin for error however if I misstep or lean out wrong.

This is a cheap, lightweight product. It came wrapped in plastic. When I unwrapped it there were several dents all over, which wasn't surprising given the low quality of the materials. Both "caps" at the top of a folding leg were loose/sticking up, as though not properly assembled or that it was so poorly designed they just didn't fit. Steps were dirty, so possibly just not a new product like I ordered? Returning as quickly as it arrived.
