Quality from dell does it all! Read, copy, burn . Excellent! Very pleased with this unit. Good price as well

Good little external DVD drive/recorder. New laptop does not have internal DVD drive. Less $ than Dell direct.

When you need a CD/DVD drive, this works fine
Our latest desktop computer did not have an internal DVD/CD drive option. This drive does the trick - so far I've used it mainly to burn specific CD compilations from the thousands of mp3 files I have. It works fine and is very thin and inconspicuous.

No instructions.?
I like this product, but it came with no instructions. I am a senior citizen and not very computer savvy. I had to take it to Best Buy and get the Geek Squad to show me how it worked. Thanks to them I can now use it with my computer.

Worked out of the box with windows 11. Downloaded VLC player (I've used it already before) and it read/played dvd movies with this dvd drive just fine. Didn't need to install any other software.

Ce petit CD/DVD dépanne bien car les nouveaux PC en ont pas. Il fait aussi bien que s'il était à l'intérieur.
