Is there .5 mm of space between the camera lenses and the case? Will camera lens protectors fit with this case?

Unfortunately not. It has the slightest bit of room. That's the only down fall. I too am one who likes to protect their camera lens. I also found that protective lenses take from the quality of my photos. I'm not sure if anyone else has this issue, or if it's unique to me.

Is it slippery at all?

Yes, it can be. In my review I emphasized that I wished there was a bit more of an elemental grip to it. The natural isn't silicone. It's a bid hard
