Dried Aronia Berries 17.6 oz

They are a bit larger than other brands of aronia berries I have tried. They are also not as dried out as the other brands. After soaking overnight, the soaking water actually turns dark from the pigment released by the berries and the berries become plump and soften up a bit. Taste is more flavorful than other brands, and the berries actually have a nice scent. The other brands did not have any scent.

Good product

It's bitter. Not juicy or sweet. It's pretty hard. I eat it because it is nutritious not for the taste. I put it in my overnight rolled oats so that it would soften. My dog likes it too.

These berries taste like cardboard. After overnight hidratation the fruits are still dry, no taste or frutty smell at all. I know dried fruits are not the same with fresh fruits, but dried fruits still keep some taste or flavor. These are not. In this case, I don't know if these berries will provide the benefits.

good buy for the price, very convenient way to get the benefit of these berries, flavor is fine. I use these in my protein shake for breakfast.

I have to say these tastes awful, like veey dry cardboard or hard ash, with a little bit of berry flavor. It was gritty texture also. I put them in water to reconstitute them. They did plump up but the taste and texture didn’t really improve.

Great product and used multiple times!

Found this product to be similar in texture to raisins. Tossing 30-40 dried berrys straight into your mouth leaves a dry wine like impression (slightly tannic) after swallowing you can taste some of the sweetness and a faint floralness, not bitter to my taste as some reviews have stated. These are what I expected from a food as medicine view point. If you’re expecting blue berry sweetness or acidity this is not that berry, it is its own berry.
