Difficult to find a Roman Ogee profile this wide with a 1/4" shank but it closely matched some old trim from the 80s I was trying to refurbish.TIPS: Make multiple passes or just get you settings dialed in right. Works great on soft woods. Be careful if you're cutting hardwood.

I have found this to be a decent Ogee raised panel bit at a very reasonable price. The carbide cutters are sharp with no nicks or other imperfections and the pilot bearing rotates smoothly. It cuts cleanly and leaves a respectably smooth finish without burning. So far, I've used this bit in my router table along with the Yonico 12243 Ogee rail and stile bit set on maple, select pine and PT for some decorative exterior panels.I don't know how many board feet this bit will ultimately handle before sharpening or replacement is needed, but for the time being it is holding up quite well. Overall, I'm quite pleased, especially when considering the modest cost for this bit.

I needed a bit to make my cabinet doors look better. This bit cut so smooth. The finale product is beautiful.

I finally used this bit. I first tested the bit on pine. It left some shavings still attached. This was probably because I wasn't careful which way the grain of the wood was coming out of the face of the board. I decided to try the bit on red oak. The bit perfectly routed 52 linear feet. I will buy this brand again.

My first project with this bit was to cut 64 bd ft of solid red oak to fabricate a baseboard for my living room renovation. The router bit worked perfectly. Yes, I had to make several passes due to the hardness of the wood and the amount of material that was removed. I will be ordering more Yonico router bits as needed. And maybe one of these days upgrade to a 1/2" shank router! Even though it is listed as a panel bit, it produces a very nice baseboard as you can see in my picture. When I take the time to make any type of custom molding, I make sure it doesn't look like something you can buy at the local home improvement store. This bit fits the bill! As you can see, the baseboards turned out very nice. I mixed a custom stain color and finished with two coats of semi-gloss polyurethane.

Roller bearing fell apart after 10 seconds of use, luckily I had a spare to finish the job.
