ELEGOO 2 PCS Plastic Resin Tanks Vats for ELEGOO Mars 3D Printer with 2 PCS Lids and FEP Films Pre-installed, Compatible with Anycubic Photon, Photon S and Epax X1

Handy item, perhaps a little expensive for what it is, but very useful to have spares. Recommend.

The two plastic tanks in this package are the correct size for the Elegoo Mars 2 Pro SLA Printer. As they have close fitting lids they could also be used for different colour resins. I use the Elegoo water washable Grey type resin so if I wanted to use a different colour resin or an IPA washable resin, then I could use one of these tanks for that.A FEP sheet can get damaged if bits of support material break off a model and then get pressed into the FEP by the descending build plate. If that happens, replacing the FEP is a time consuming affair. Having a spare tank can save a lot of time.I do not know if these tanks will fit any other printer - I have only tried them on the Elegoo Mars 2 Pro.

So, as I use more than one resin when printing models, I figured it might be a good idea to get a couple spare tanks to save on time cleaning and prepping when changing resin. These seemed like a good idea and I'm happy to say I was not disappointed at all with these. Clarity and print quality is identical as far as I can tell when compared to the original tank. Everything else is just about identical to the original as well. They are good quality, solid, nicely finished and work perfectly.I've not had a reason to change the FEP film in these yet, but looking the tanks over it should be precisely the same as changing it in the original Elegoo tank.For my purposes these are absolutely perfect. With the included lid I can keep resin in the tank without having to worry about it going off, the box they come in is a perfect storage medium between prints, and these have worked just fine since they arrived, and they fit the Mars3 I have perfectly. Good price, good quality, what more could you need.

After having a few FEP screen installations that cause problems later I found it easier to just buy these vats.I do wish I could put the lids on the vats whilst they are still in the machine, this would have been helpful with all the sun we was getting. As it stands I really don't have anywhere safe to store a vat full of resin, nor do I need to "hot swap" resin colours.

I have the Elegoo Mars and unfortunately split the film after a load of printing. Looked online and found the film for 23 quid to replace and then came across these. Absolutely the best buy I have ever done for my printer so far. The tray is much more lighter than the original one that comes with the Elegoo Mars, its clear so you can see through it and you get 2!!!! Cleaning it is simple and its pretty easy to move around if you need to poor any liquid out. I have the first gen of the mars and these work perfectly!

It fits perfectly, nothing adhere to film which is great. Prints well!

Bit pricey for a little container but handy to have for different resins

Work well, nice being able to see through the sides to tell if a print has gone bad earlier too. The film could do with being just a little tighter I think though, had to increase my lift distance a bit for prints to work, makes it a fair bit slower but other than that, these are great.
