Very snug fit
This feels well made. I read reviews that said the wood part was too lose. If anything it is too sung and a bit hard to move.

Awesome Tool
First, let me say that I worked a long time as a tool & die maker, so I know a little about precision. That being said - out of the box, I wanted to know if the block would tighten on the rule and hold it solid because so many seem to have had problems there. It does. Next, I checked the accuracy of the etchings from the start of the rule. The etchings almost have to be accurate, but they can easily be offset from the front edge. They were dead on. Next check was the accuracy of the 90⁰ and 45⁰ angles. I found a tiny, tiny inaccuracy, so I went looking for it - found that the rule had about a 1/32" of side play in the slot, which could generate an error of a few minutes of the degree. As a tool maker, this could be devastating. But this isn't intended to use in a machine shop making parts for aircraft, it's for woodworking. I doubt if the fence on my table saw is this close. Honestly, if you think you can control a saw through wood this accurately, get over yourself. This tool is great for a diy hobbyist, or a cabinet maker. I recommend it without hesitation.

Nice concept, but not square.
I like the concept. The fit and finish look very nice. I liked the ruler very much, and was tempted to keep it just for the ruler, but returned it because it wasn’t square at 90 degrees. The 45 degree setup delivered a perfect 45 degree angle, but the 90 degree setup cam in closer to a 91 degree angle. Not usable.

Nice and Precise, the screw needs force to tighten
Initially the top screw held the ruled firmly but after a few uses you have to use extra force so that the ruler does not slide. Overall, a convenient little tool that makes life easier for quick 45 degree angles and locked repeatable measurements.

works great
Scale markings are clear and easy to read. The sliding block is easy to set and accurate

Perfect Simple Product and Excellent Customer Service
This little ruler square is perfect for my woodworking needs. hangs on my pegboard and is fully adjustable with a quick turn. I also find myself releasing the ruler from the square block quite often and not picking up my other metal ruler as I like the tick marks and edge on this one better. Excellent quality for value. Ordered one that slipped a little and their customer service quickly ok'ed the replacement. I will be buying more products from these folks.

A very solid ruler
The construction of this is surprisingly solid. The metal part is VERY sturdy (seriously, I was able to use it to unscrew a giant flathead screw when I couldn't find my giant flathead screwdriver) and wooden block is solid, ans the knob is too.The block slides easily when unlocked, and locks solidly when locked in place. The angles are true and won't change. All in all, this is perfect for drawing and woodworking. And giant flathead screws I guess.

Nice idea but not really thought through
Concept of this is very good, however several things let it down. Firstly, the rule is so thin that if you are woodworking, it’s difficult to draw a line accurately on the wood. Secondly, one of the most important reasons for buying this - the ability to use the ruler measure - is severely hampered by the ruler not being aligned to the edge of the block. Instead if the wooden block is butted up to the wood to give the straight line, it begins at 2+cm, rather than zero. Wouldn’t it make sense to start the edge at zero? So you may as well just buy a standard set square.

Disappointed!
This looks like a quality product and I was pleased when I first opened the box. However, when I came to use it I found that it is virtually unusable. The wooden block does not lock in place no matter how tight you turn the locking device, so the ruler slides out of alignment as soon as you try to use it as described in their pamphlet. However, after being contacted by the seller and kindly being sent a new one, I can only add that the original one received must have been a one-off and now having tried the second one I am now very pleased with the product. As stated previously it looks like a quality product and' I can now assure you reader, it does perform like a quality product. I can now give the product 5 stars.

Excellent tool for woodworkers
Arrived on time in secure packaging. Product comes in a nice professional box with very good instruction sheet. Product is well made and gives the user a straight edge, 90 and 45 degree angles, along with the steel ruler marked in metric and imperial. Very handy tool for the workshop and easily fits in a toolbox. Certainly recommend.

Not fit for purpose
Bought a while ago and came to use it for the first time and discovered that it doesn’t fix the ruler in place when fully tight - it should do but the one I’ve been sent doesn’t. Past the return window too which is disappointing. An expensive metal ruler for me

Unusable
This looked very nice and I was looking forward to using it until I found that the thumbscrew wouldn't lock the rule in place. The rule still slides through unless you really grip the thumbscrew and turn with all your might, even then the rule wobbles slightly in the wood. Should only need a little nip up with finger and thumb. Very disappointed, so I've returned it and ordered an all metal version.
