So many games one of the funnest arcades that I own and nothing to put together just plug it in

Incredibly impressed. The SNK machines were iconic in the mid 90s. as a kid the 3 biggest names for fighting games were the Mortal Kombat series / marvel vs Capcom series and SNK with their king of fighters series ... Yes there were plenty of other fighting games but none of them had the household name recognition like these big three, all of these games were known for me some of the best and most fluid fighting gameplay around for the era, additionally metal slug was an iconic game series that was known for its side scrolling shooter combat much similar to contra but had the pivotal tank the sv-001 "metal slug" and later on it had even more "slugs" (vehicles to run around in) this game was a quarter crusher back in the day and a lot of overprotective parents in the '90s thought the cartoon violence was a bit gratuitous so depending on how young you were you may not have gotten quarters to play that title but later on the series was ported to systems like Xbox that's where I truly became a fan but that's a whole different long story...as for this review the MSV X bar top arcade is a great investment and a lot of fun and nostalgia for anyone who appreciates the retro gaming experience. Size dimensions are perfect the machine build quality is very nice it has a beautiful light up Marquee on the top as for controls joysticks and buttons also feel to be of good quality and play well and as for sound the speakers sound fantastic all and all I personally give this machine top accolades for being a budget friendly way to get a true arcade experience at home without breaking the bank 10/10 would buy again.

My mom bought me an original neo Geo system back in the 90s… Recently, I’ve just been nostalgic for it and I really wanted to play my old games like samurai showdown. I decided to buy this since the original consoles cost thousands of dollars in good condition. All I can say is that this thing is absolutely amazing and it’s worth every penny! Every game is exactly the way I remember it, the controllers are excellent and responsive, and there’s also something like 50 games on this arcade machine! That’s about 46 more than I had in the 90s!

Its great. Not perfect. I like that you can edit the button layout. One thing I found is that the screen is not as good as the arcade1up. If you look at the screen at an angle you cant see the picture as much. It looks like a blue/purple screen or faded picture

Love the general product build on this, I've had 1up cabinets and this beats them. I did swap out the controls, but I'd bet most people would be fine with the stock ones even though they're pretty cheap. The sound is mid tier, but the whole package adds up to a really fun experience. A lot of games for the money.

First issue: When I was opening up the box and removing the Item I heard a noise like something was loose from inside the arcade unit. Well when I powered it on the screen lite up and everything seems to be working until I went to use the controls. They were non responsive and nothing was lighting up. Turned it off then on again to make sure it wasn’t just a start up issue. That didn’t work. I took the back cover off ( 6 screws ) then saw this ( see pictures ). A support bar was broken off from under the monitor and that’s what was making the noise of the banging around. Well zipped tied to that monitor support bar was a ribbon cable with a weight attached to it that plugs into the control panel. So am guessing that got pulled out when that bar broke off. Second issue: When removing the scratch protective film off the monitor I saw this chunk of wood missing from the upper left corner. For the money there are better “ cabinets “. I just wanted a replacement because this unit has caught my eye for a while now and finally be able to afford one then to be disappointed…sucks.. Amazon only offered me a refund not even enough to rebuy another one. Looks nice tho.

This is a great arcade with a lot of games. It has metal slug and its one of my all time favorite arcade games
