3 Size Magic Embroidery Pen Embroidery Stitching Punch Needle Set Craft Tool Knitting Sewing Tool for Embroidery Threaders

I absolutely love this magic embroidery pen! It works perfect for my home decor projects and is super easy to use. I have been cross stitching and embroidering since I was 10 and this tool makes everything go by faster, and was pretty easy to get use to using. I love this pen so much, that I am ordering both my mum and grandmother one!!

This product is a piece of crap. It broke immediately. When I tried to string the thread through the needle, the needle popped out of its holder. This happened to all 3 needles. Once I super glued the needle back in and finally got it thread, I used 3 ply thread in the 3 ply needle and the tension was so tight that it wouldn’t punch properly.

I don't like it because when you embroidery something, the underside doesn't catch to anything and it pulls completely out when you tug on it it least bit. Then all my work is unraveled. If I am doing something wrong, please let me know. Very unhappy with it.

When I first saw this item I was immediately excited the moment it arrived at my door. Feeding the thin thread wire through the needle hole is a bit tricky the first few times, you have to pinch the ends of it so they can go through the pen. I embroider hoops so I was super exited in having something help alleviate the pain in my wrists from the normal hand sewing. Unfortunately I have to give it a 3 star rating since the exact needle I needed for all of my embroidery work came broken (looks like it wasn't glued on right) and kept moving around.

Good ... needs more instruction

I learned to do this in about 10 minutes. I have done embroidery by hand for many years. I have tried to teach the young girls in the family and find they have trouble threading their needles and making tiny uniform stitches. With the punch needle I can thread the 6 strands of embroidery floss and punch until that color is finished. I used a tightly woven fabric with an embroidery hoop to hold it firmly in place. I drew my flower on with a pen and used the medium size needle. The instructions are very well written and easy to follow. This is a great way to get girls doing embroidery for names on towels, embellishments to clothes, names on Christmas Stockings, book marks, samplers and other items. When I finished my project I used a needle to pull my loose threads to the back side and tie them off. I plan to punch my next project from the back and use longer loose ends, so that I can more easily tie them off.

I was expecting this to be great based on the reviews I’ve read. But unfortunately, it’s not. The knob that tightens the needle position does not hold it in place. I’ve tightened it as much as I can and it still moves. I plan on returning it.
