Works with my APEC!
I bought this for an APEC ROCT-Plus unit, and it works great. APEC has been out of stock on their filter forever; and while this Waterdrop filter doesn't mention compatibility with the APEC unit, I found blogs which indicated it should work, so I tried it. The Waterdrop appears identical to the APEC filter and all of the electronic functions of the APEC unit are behaving normally, after a month's usage. As an aside this new filter has resolved a long standing problem with the APEC unit which had been driving me crazy! With the original filter the APEC produced water at a terribly slow rate. I had sent it back for repair under warranty last year -- this resolved the issue for a month or two only. I then changed the filter (replacements were available last year from APEC) but that didn't resolve the aggrevatingly slow flow rate. But now, with this Waterdrop filter the flow rate is back to where the APEC originally was! Very happy!

Great customer service
With the original filter I was able to get below 15ppm, now with this filter I was only to get 20-25 ppm. Update: Waterdrop reached out to me and sent me a replacement free of charge. I tested the new filter and I was able to reach below 20 ppm. I can say that I am very satisfied with waterdrop customer service.

Disappointed
I purchased this water filter in June and now just 3 months later in September, the water tastes terrible, even I flushed many times but still not like the original, so disappointed.

Consistency and great quality water filter.
Easy to replace; lasts over 12 months for me and does not change taste over time which is often found in other filters. Recommended. Is heavy on the cost side and the company does not have recycling program/ also not recommended for land fill.
