Tamiya TAM61114 1/48 Grumman F-14A Tomcat Plastic Model Airplane Kit, Navy

I found this model a bit tricky to build with the smaller pieces but if you take your time it all comes together, this is one gorgeous model when painted..

Fantastic item, delivered on time

This is the closest one can get to "a perfect kit" give it time and patience and despite being made of lots of parts It goes together perfectly and easily. With proper tooling and relative experience thiw kit can produce a verey realistic and spectacular result without trying the builder's temper quite the opposite you'll leave the bench with a smile on your face every time.

When I was younger I made models and always remembered tamiya for been great. With this covid lockdown I decided to make models again. And wow. Tamiya are still brilliant models. This model is a pure joy to make and am already looking for next tamiya model to make.

It's a xmas present, the kit looks beautiful, will keep him occupied for ages!

This is the best fitting jet kit I've built so far, it's one of those rare kits that actually lives up to the hype. Tamiya will hopefully release the B/D versions in due course .

The assembly is straightforward some very small details but the transfers are useless and call off once dry. I have attempted a return and refund but this was not possible after #1st January so as nice as the model is the finished article is rubbish.
