Filter only. Tubing not included.

Q: Do you have to replace the filter cartridge or actual filter or is it good to go until it quits working?

No need to replace, just put it in a bucket of old tank water and squeeze the sponge a few times. Don't use fresh tap water for this as it will kill the good bacteria.

Q: Can i run an air stone along with this filter?

Yes you can with a little modification of the center you can run a small piece of line and an air stone
