This is a really pretty bookmark in a Asian style.The listing says it is handmade and it certainly has that appearance. The wood has been cut and filed until it looks incredibly impressive. I picked up the peacock version and the intricate carvings are really eye-catching.The peacock and the flowers have a nice design. They're not ultra-realistic, but neither are they cartoon-y. They suit the Asian style very well. There's also a couple of beads dangling off the bookmark. It would be easy for these to look tacky, but I think by matching the colours and style of the bookmark they actually really add to the aesthetic.My only complaint would be that although the presentation box is very pretty, the laminate material used was frayed and coming away in certain areas, which made it look a little tatty. This is a shame as the box is beautiful and could have been kept if it was a bit more durable.

The detail and craftsmanship is lovely, and the designs do not look rushed.The quality of the bookmarks is fantastic, being made from wood, they are not flimsy and cheap or likely to break very easily. In addition to looking beautiful and coming nicely gift boxed, they look and feel professional as well.Perfect gift for any reader.

I have only recently got into reading so didn't have any bookmarks. I therefore ordered this one and I think it is great.It is a nice, lightweight wood that is painted black with a nice pattern. This means it looks very minimal and is very sturdy. Being made of wood, it will obviously last a long time, much longer than a paper one.It also has a blue thing attached to it which makes it easy to find your page quickly as well as adds to the overall look.Overall, nice bookmark however quite expensive. It would make a nice gift and I would definitely recommend.

The wooden bookmark is gorgeous! It is beautifully detailed with the carved wood, delicately painted peacock, and what appears to be turquoise gemstone beads. It would make a great gift for anyone who loves books, and it's already well presented in a lovely case.

These make an exceptional gift for book lovers as they look absolutely wonderful, the detail is really very lovely and it is not hard to believe these are handmade which of course makes each set genuinely unique.The birds and blades of grass are so well realised that it is a pleasure to see them in the books themselves as such handsome place markers deserve to be seen and not stored away in their own equally delightful gift box.This is a lovely and easy recommendation and really does make a fantastic gift option.

These are really nice book marks very nice, detailed work and good value at under £15.The box the book marks are housed in is really good, shaped like a book. These are good enough to give as a nice gift for someone you know is a book reader. I use a folded piece of paper as a book mark but not any more. I use these, feel very premium. Impressed.
