10pcs 3/8" Drive Socket 9-19mm Damaged Nut Stud Extractor Bolt Remover Locking

My husband is very happy with this. He has a Honda Gold wing 1500 that had bolts with rounded heads. Which has been on the bike for 25 years. This worked a treat. He wished he had brought it years ago.

Worked really well for a super-rounded nut that just wouldn't come off, really is crazy how cheap this kit is.

This item arrived on time and worked perfectly. The sump plug had been badly damaged by a previous mechanic, the reason I prefer doing the servicing myself, and as I could not get the bolt out I bought this and within a matter of minutes managed to remove the damaged sump plug and got the car serviced. Having used this before I am more than confident that it will perform great time and again. This is one tool that you will not always use but are glad you have it when you need it. I love the box it comes in, which keeps them together and safe. I don't like that a ratchet cannot be directly connected to the tool as the centre hole is round which means a ring spanner needs to be used in confined spaces and if the nut/bolt head is in a small space that cannot accommodate a socket spanner then things become difficult as then the thickness of the socket would need to be considered as the tool would fit inside the socket rather then being used just on its own. I will add though that the advantage of the centre hole being round does mean that this can be used on nuts that have the bolt extruding as the bolt would then fit through the hole.

As above these are great for the price, and do exactly what they are supposed to.Only complaint is if its tight to get to the bolt they require chunky sockets to go over the breaker nuts so might be worth looking at some that will go straight onto your ratchet/impact.

Does the job for biting into rounded nuts in minor stuff. Not sure if trust it on rounded and heavily stuck nuts.

Excellent tool and a lot cheaper than the professional tools the pros use.. I'm just a diy mechanic at best so when i needed to change my catalytic converter on my zafira model b the copper nuts holding it in place decided to round off having been on since new and fearing the worst (paying someone an extortionate amount of money for something I'm capable of doing myself) saw the reviews for this kit that comes in an excellent metal case and for the fraction of the cost of a professional kit decided to purchase this and give it a go.. Works perfectly well. Removed every 10mm nut with ease and no slipping and banged knucles.. Just tap the right sized removal tool onto the nut and connect to a appropriate socket and you can feel the tool bite and the nuts came loose with no problems.. Love it..

These extractors worked superbly on some very rounded M10 bolt heads. No issues at all and got three damaged bolt heads off with ease. You need specific size spanner’s or sockets to use these but what a great addition to any mechanics tool kit.
