Solid, bright torch
This is a great torch, really bright for its size. The rechargeable battery is standard so it’s worth getting a back up, fully charged if you are away on a diving weekend as one won’t last.It doesn’t dim when the battery is dying, just turns off.

Good but easy to knock on or off
This dive light is decent enough for a back up but it's let down by its switch being a slide type with no lock. In practice this meant it was knocked on, in or out of pocket! I resolved this by sliding a rubber o ring over the slider and handle which kept it in the off position until I was ready to use it.Battery lasts about 3 hours. It fits in the palm nicely and comes with a wrist strap.Brightness is good but there's no way of altering the beam angle or brightness/mode.For the price, it would be perfect but for the switch.

Very impressive for the price
Waited to review this torch until after I’d been diving with it and I can say I’m very impressed with this torch for the price. It’s now completed 6 30-40m dives and stayed completely dry inside (I did silicone grease the seals) the brightness is very impressive and battery easily lasted 2 dives each day being recharged overnight. My only gripe is that the on off switch is too easy to operate and found it switches itself on on the surface with a slight knock. Think an elastic band may solve the minor niggle!

Perfect Torch
Exactly as described and what I was looking for - thanks.

The switch will jam up
I vary nice torch, BUT...The type of switch, with slide in and out, is prone to getting salt deposited inside, despite rinsing correctly after use. As a result you cant turn it on or off after just a few dives.

Works well but design isn't great for diving
The torch is bright and built solidly considering the price. Annoyingly though, to turn it on and off it has a sliding switch which almost always gets turned on accidentally. It also makes it a bit awkward to select intermediate brightnesses. A button would be a far better design.

Sturdy, good value but not sure about the brightness.
I needed a replacement torch for Scuba Diving. I was attracted to the 3000 lumens claimed for Guildford which seemed like a real bargain. I now used it underwater. It's very sturdy and easy to handle. The switch has a positive feel. I compared the brightness with my dive buddies 1000 lumens torch and there didn't seem to be my h difference. Despite that it's a good torch for the money.
