Vibram Men's FiveFingers V-Run Retro | Barefoot Road Running Shoes for Natural Comfort & Stability

These are absolutely the best shoes I’ve ever owned and have become my daily shoes. I love trail running, but I typically do that barefoot, so these allow me to work the same muscles all throughout the day and at work. I put off trying them for a long time because I was put off by the price, but it’s absolutely worth it. They make you walk in a toe/ball-of-the-foot-first way it feels super natural. It forces you to stand up straighter and engage your core. Spreading out my toes while I walk around work makes me feel much more stable, especially well lifting moderate amounts of weight in the course of my workday. The grip is amazing. The fit is excellent, but it’s highly specific. I would highly recommend buying a few sizes around your typical size to make sure you get the exact fit as the fit being just a little bit off makes for an awkward walking experience.

I love them my toes love them my back loves them. This rubber is super thick I mean super and no matter what I step on I don’t have to worry about it anymore. I have a neurological condition and I have epilepsy/seizures and usually crash into things on accident or whatever. The slip resistance helps me not eat it on my face and embarrass myself. The quality is great I have gone in the water and all over even driving and they are a must have! Now the only thing that almost made me not but them was the price but after wearing them everywhere for a while man I get all the value for my money with these 😂 they just are not your kuru sandal it takes some getting used to because they help with training like foot strengthening. I love that they are helping me with my bunions too so bonus points. Value the value !! I will be buying another backup pair for sure 👍

Got these for my husband and had to switch them out several times to get the right size, his feet measure just above 10.5 inches and ended up sticking with the 9.5-10 size. He tears his feet up in the mountains wearing flip flops so I was hoping to protect his feet. They work well through dirt, rocks, and rivers, with only a few pebbles in them at the end of the day. They grip well and are very comfortable. I have the women's version. I have bunions and they comfortably keep my feet aligned. Funny looking but so worth it.

U-G-L-Y they don’t have an alibi, they’re just ugly; Ugly by Fishbone. If you want a better looking shoe from Vibram, you’re going to have to buy the modern shoes that they have available. I have been buying five fingers since at least 2017 if not before. I’m thinking maybe 2015, 16. Anyway, the sole on this throwback shoes is definitely thicker. You don’t quite get that I don’t have nothing on my feet feel. If you want that, you’re gonna have to get something modern from them. That’s going to be the difference. These will probably last longer, but you won’t get that feel. Other than that they’re just fine. The fabric is a little different than the modern ones. That’s the whole review. I get awesome pedal fell iwith Vibram five fingers. I have a fused ankle. These allow me to exercise that calf with extremely limited range of motion. I think, my calf, it’s not as small as it would be because of these shoes. Anyway, pedal fell in the car is just awesome. I break with my big toe and I accelerate with my big toe. I am going to have to buy some more modern ones, but I’ll keep these ‘cause, what the hell.

These shoes felt and fit great but not even having them two month, the soles got so much wear that one of the shoes formed a hole that goes right through. These shoes were strictly used for exercise. I was able to track the distance traveled while wearing them and checking over my workout tracker m, these shoes lasted for less then 80 miles. That is absolutely absurd. I have never had shoes wear out that quick, at least with that short of distance. You get better mileage per dollar on a gas guzzling vehicle than these shoes. 20$ is max you should pay for this pair due to their lack of durability. Never buying them again absolutely not worth it unless you want a throw away pair

I paid close attention to the other reviews for an accurate size guess and I did well. I am a woman's 8.5 (perfect fit) for a sandal, a womans 10 western boot and a womans 9 in a sneaker because I have a wide foot. I wear a men's 7 (perfect fit) sneaker but have worn a mens 8 wide and snuggled up the laces with an insole inserted. For this experiment with my first pair of toe shoes, the V run retro, I ordered the 7.5-8 option and it fit perfectly in length and width with no room to spare. All of my toes feel comfortable in the shoe except for my big toes which are still growing toenails after losing them during a hiking expedition. It's not the shoes fault that my half grown big toenails are tender when fitted in such a perfect fitting toe shoe. Other than that, they feel perfect. I will wear them around the house to get used to them and when it feels like I can, I will venture out in them. I'm keeping them. I have no intention of returning them and will be interested to see how long their workmanship will last. 1 year later I had to order a size larger which was the 8-8.5 option for the best fit. The 7.5-8 size put my toe too close to the end. I needed some space so one size up from my normal size fit best. I have worn these walking rocks and large boulders as a lifeguard. The grip was exactly what I needed. The barefoot aspect gave me agility. They work great in the water and didnt aggravate when walking in them wet after a save. They dried in the sun well enough but I wouldn't call them "quick drying". I prefer wearing toe socks with them (low ankle) for maximum comfort. They are not for gravel or rough terrain with stickers, glass or anything you wouldn't want to step on barefoot. They are not for that kind of use, but they are great for barefoot situations when you need more grip like wearing a strong rubber sock I tripped while climbing over a large rock and hurt my toe as if wearing nothing at all so don't expect protection in these shoes. Just traction. Nothing more.

Vibram five fingers shoes in general are the best footwear I have ever had the pleasure of wearing. These are another winner by vibram. In general the vffs take some getting used to on different terrains but after a few months, you will never want to go back to regular shoes. I've been wearing various models for 5 years now 99.9 percent of the time and can recommend. Thanks again vibram!

I truly love these shoes, they are super comfy and in my case I ordered a 41 EUR which is the size I usually wear and fit perfectly. (I’m a woman I ordered USa 8.5-9 MENS for reference). I got them about 2.5 months ago and after the first week i started realizing that the glue that sticks the sole with the shoe is disappearing. I have only used them for running outdoors and in a treadmill and they have only a bit over 170km. I wish the quality was better.

I love this shoe, to replace my other v runs. I recommend upsizing 1 size or minimum 1/2 size and l have wide feet. The grip is fantastic, have a sturdy design. I didnt want to pay full price so i got red which are a bit too visible and i get a few comments. Lets hope they last as long as my other vibrams

I like Vibram soles and the trail version of the five fingers is great. This pair has already been damaged and is far less resilient than the trail version. But still good shoes.
