Lastolite LL LB67GW Reversible 6-Feetx7-Feet Plain Collapsible Background (White /Mid Gray)

This backdrop has freed me from seamless paper and bulky rolled backdrops. The two sides, pure white and dark gray, are all I need for business head shots. It is really easy to set up and fold away once you get the hang of it. I use a CowboyStudio 5ft Photo Studio Extendable Reflector Holding Holder Arm with Clamps at the top on one Manfrotto stand, making it a one-person job to set it up and take down. The fabric is very smooth when opened and only shows texture if placed too near the subject with too much depth of field. In normal portrait setup you never see the weave of the fabric or have moire patterns. I'd love to have the next smaller one when doing head shots only, as this one is a bit larger than necessary for a single portrait, but since my budget was for one backdrop to handle head-and-shoulder portraits as well as 2/3 full standing portraits, this one ably fills the bill.

Well made, opens fully (without the top/sides sagging in). The grey is very even. It could be a little more opaque (meaning light from a window behind it will show through a bit) but it's far better quality than anything else I've tried. Also, it comes with a nice, sturdy cordura bag with a hefty zipper. The cheap backgrounds tend to have super flimsy bags with even cheaper zippers that break/stick. Very much worth the extra $ for me since this travels quite a bit.For anyone new to these backgrounds, take the time to learn how to fold it. This one is BIG and the technique is a little different than with the smaller ones. And pay attention when opening, since a side can flip out quickly and easily knock something off a shelf!

Very well pleased with this product. Light weight, easy to fold, great portable backdrop. (reflector or scrim in a pinch) Versatile background can be lit white to black depending on your particular need. Quality product.

It's perfect for head shots or 3/4 photos. It folds up easily once you learn the trick and the fabric stays very taught when open. No wrinkles at all.
