Great Digital Caliper With Included Carrying Case & Extra Batteries!
I'm new to 3D printing and from all the instruction videos I've watched, having a caliper can be extremely valuable! This is a very affordable caliper with a digital output to make your measurements easy to read and exact! I've already made good use of it and it worked great!! Comes with a great storage case and 2 extra batteries (wow)! Highly recommend!

Best affordable caliper
Absolutely the best for the price. I like how the buttons are out of the way on the side as opposed to the top. There is no dead spots like on my last one. It deals heavy and solid. And best of all it uses and affordable CR2032 battery. Sr44 batteries are $10 each. Very happy with this product.

It's precise and it works.
It's been accurate to a pin needle so far from my experience, no complaints here. easy to use, and has a twist knob to lock it down to keep it from moving if needed. nice and weighty. would be nice if it had a backlit but for 20 bucks, cant complain i guess.

UPDATE- an issue to be aware of on this tool
My original review is still true, but a problem has surfaced. With only a few hours of actual time on, the battery low signal (flashing display) came on. Changing the battery is unlike other calipers. The cover does not slide, it is screwed on. The screw- is tiny... and the cover fits very tightly and specific steps must be used to remove or re-install it. Unfortunately, this was done in the machine shop instead of in a clean space. The screw was being held in place with a finger over the hole it fits in on the back, while trying to seat the batery cover from the front. Somehow that finger slipped enough for the screw to fall out, and in an active machine shop small metal pieces are everywhere. 15 minutes of seaching with a flashlight failed to find it, and I told the machinist to forget it as the cost of wages paid in the search were already more than the cost of the caliper. Lesson- when you change a battery, do it over a towel or clean space that will prevent the loss of the screw. It's only about 3/32" long, really tiny. The short battery life was probably an age issue, meaning it came with the device, and may have been sitting for some time. Quite an attractive tool, well made and comes with a nice case and batteries. The third display option for fractions can come in handy too. I often use this for a conversion chart, referencing between measurement standards, such as converting a mm rating to decimal. Accuracy seems very good. Overall, a great buy for the quality and feature it has.

Nice for the price
Seems to work fine and quality is comparable to similar units in this price range. I specifically purchased this model as my other two similar units use an A76 button battery and if I don’t remove the battery after usage the units are dead for the next use. Supposedly the units that run on the 2032 battery’s don’t have that battery drainage issue so we will see? This unit you have to remove the back and they include a small screwdriver to replace the (2) batteries. They give you and extra set also! I don’t mind this as most of the calipers that use the A76 bottom battery you remove the cover on the front and the cover is thin and cheesy! A few times the cover popped off and I had to scramble to find it when replacing battery on my OTHER calipers. Don’t have to worry about that now with this unit! Negatives: storage case is thin and cheap compared to my other two similar calipers. I have a feeling after a dozen times of opening the rear hinge will snap off! 2) I don’t like the way the inches are displayed on the top of the unit. Small and at first glance I thought this was a metric only caliper! It’s not. No big deal I suppose as you’re not really looking at the ruler taking measurements but something I thought was worth mentioning.

Kynup Digital Caliper Measuring Tool
Item is as advertised. The all-metal caliper is very well constructed and robust. The LCD readout is large and easy to read. I find that the accuracy is excellent and the rolling wheel has a very smooth feel. The resolution is definitive and stable, not jittery or indecisive. It comes with a nice plastic protective case and two button cell batteries. This is one of the better digital micrometers that I have used. Excellent.

Good ergonomics and user interface; it's a keeper
Pros: • Has a large display (larger than most digital calipers) • Has a good user interface and ergonomics • Can display Fractions (along with mm & decimal inches options) • Slides well, has a micro adjust wheel, and a lockdown pin on top • Uses commonly available CR2032 cell • Nice enough case (for what it is; cheap hinge may not hold up over time, however) • Two extra coin cells provided, and a mini guitar pick to aid in opening cell carrier compartment Cons: • Units are displayed to the left of the number • Somewhat heavy, given its metal construction For decades i've been using a plastic, Swiss made, General brand, dial analog caliper. It gets a lot of use, i treat it well, and it has held up well. I use it all the time to determine what size drill bit to use. It's lightweight, and i like that. I decided it was time to get a fractional digital caliper, to streamline my measurements. I have a non-fractional Harbor Freight digital caliper which i rarely use because it uses button cells (which i never seem to have on hand). I wanted a caliper that uses a CR2032 coin cell, and does fractions. It may seem like a small thing, but i really like that this has a dedicated Zero button (placed at the top, where it's unlikely to be hit accidentally), and the power button powers it off immediately. The power button is well placed too; i've never turned it off accidentally. But it's a simple matter to turn it back on, and be immediately back in business. Proper design; what a joy! I recently used another caliper which combined Zero and Power into a single button, and did it in the worst possible way (i.e. you had to long-press to turn it off). I like the three button design of this caliper much better, and like that it turns off immediately when you hit the power button. The large display is quite nice, and one reason i chose this model over the competition. The aforementioned competing caliper also had a large display, but this Kynup displays fractions more boldly, and this caliper's use of smaller numerals for less significant digits actually improves readability compared to the other one (see photos). A minor design flaw of this unit is its somewhat unnatural display of the units on the left side of the numbers. The photos below show the other caliper, and this Kynup below it. (The maroon tinge on the display is an artifact of the camera and natural sunlight. Both display backgrounds, in real life, look like the Kynup's in these photos.)

Excellent calipers for a good price
I always used cheap calipers that cost 15-20 euros and all had the same problems: they don't return to zero, so you have to zero it every time you take a measurement, they eat up the battery very quickly and they die after one year or so. I wanted something better and I came across the Kynup that had good reviews and I liked the large display. When I received it and opened the box I was pleasantly surprised - this calipers is heavy and build very well. It uses CR2032 batteries, so it should last for a long time. The machining on the jaws are perfect and you can't see any light shines through the Jaws when they are closed. The micro adjust wheel is very stiff and allow very small changes, unlike the cheap ones. The display is large and clear and has 1/100 of a millimeter resolution, and best of all - it always return to zero!
