Fantastic heat proof mat. We use it camping & place it under the cooker. It's nice & thick which protects the table & is non-slip which makes it safe. Very easy to clean.

After having a new kitchen with quartz worktops I decided some protection would be sensible although I never put hot pans down directly on the worktops anyway. I now place one of these mats alongside the hob whilst cooking so that I can put down hot lids, messy spoons etc without fear of damaging/staining the worktop. Another goes under the plate warmer and/or air fryer and have protected the worktop from the heat of these items whilst giving me peace of mind too. The mats do not slip and are easy to wash. I wouldn't be without them.

Protects and keeps clean my electric hon

Bought this to protect my ceramic hob. Good thickness and quality and big enough to cover most of the hob. Can place things on top when hob not in use.

Great size. Looks great and use it for more than purpose.

I needed a protective barrier between my Induction hob and work surface, or mainly as a protection against my husband putting hot pans down. This is slim enough to not cause a lump and effective enough to protect my work surface

Early days but seems fab

I wanted this to protect our worktop and to sit underneath our air fryer and kettle in one corner of the kitchen. It is soft and a neutral pale grey colour. It was a little tricky to unwrap but is was easy to unroll and lies flat straight away with our any 'memory curl'. It is 60x40cm in size or roughly 23.5"x15.75".This mat is heatproof (resistant) but not fireproof. The instructions warn against putting it in the oven or exposing it to a naked flame. It fits nicely in the corner of the worktop and there is plenty of room for both the air fryer and kettle. There is also room for the teapot and its stand. It seems to work well and is fairly easy to clean. It does have a habit of picking up crumbs and the like and these are not always easy to remove. However, a quick wash with water or soapy water makes the job much easier.It is early days but I am pleased so far. It seems reasonably priced and could be used for any number of different applications both in the kitchen and around the home. The surface does offer good friction and things do not slide around on it. It may not however be used as a cutting surface as the latter would cause damage. If it suits your particular needs this is a nice product and a solid enough buy.
