I didn’t want to commit to the full price of a name-brand Nugget couch without knowing if my kids would actually use it to sit on or play with. So I opted for this Amazon dupe—and I absolutely love it. It turned out to be one of the best purchases I’ve made for my kids.I have three children, but my 8 and 3 y/o play on it daily. They build forts, set up obstacle courses, and just lounge around on it. Even the neighborhood kids join in and have a blast with it (they are all between 6-11 years old). My 10-month-old loves crawling over the different pieces too, which is an unexpected bonus.I’ve also sat on it myself (155 lbs) along with my kids, and it holds up really well—sturdy and supportive, without collapsing or sagging.It comfortably handles the energy of multiple elementary-aged kids and has been the perfect addition to our playroom. If you're on the fence, this is a great, affordable alternative to the pricier versions—and it delivers in every way. Honestly, I have thought about purchasing another one since I know they'd both be used to build forts and for climbing on.(I will say, I've had to stick the covers in the washing machine a few times. The second time I washed one of the covers, one of the zippers tore a bit. It's still usable and unnoticeable unless you're really investigating it, so I would say be sparing with washes. But like I said, it is still usable and seems to hold up fairly well even in the wash. I washed it a third time due to a spill and that tear didn't get any worse and there wasn't an additional tear created.)

I bought two couches a year ago to outfit a garage jungle gym. My girls have used these mats for countless hours. They have been houses, forts, couches, beds, a maze for the dog and crash mats for the monkey bars. When it cold the mats often get brought inside the house. They have even been used as an obstacle course in the yard.A year later the mats are a little dirty but well loved and in great shape. Worth every penny.

We have another version of this (different back and sides) and love it. We had no issues with that one. This one however smelled awful when we opened it. I compared it to a dead animal. We had to take it outside immediately. I sprayed it down with some carpet spray we had for pet urine to try to eliminate the smell. (Though don't make the same mistake I did and wear gloves! Skin irritation is not fun!) After a few hours of that and being outside, it was more tolerable. It's been a few weeks now and I no longer notice the smell, so that's good. It's a nice comfy spot in my daughter's room to sit and read. The kids like to play with it, mostly jump and climb on it. They haven't gotten too into building with them to my chagrin, though we've tried a few things. Other than the smell, I definitely recommend these couches.

I bought this couch for my three kids as they have been jumping all over mine and wanted to get them something they can sit on and use for imagination play. This couch was the perfect solution and at a price point I was comfortable with seeing how it was going to be used constantly.When the package came the items were all sealed in separate airtight plastic layers that inflated to their true size after being removed. The comments about the smell once removed from the plastic are valid. It was not please at all but I sprayed it down with fabric febreeze and the smell went away within the hour.My kids LOVE to use this for anything but a couch haha! They make forts, use the small pieces as little pillows when watching tv, and have even used the bigger parts are little sleeping cots for a sleepover. They are constantly jumping on it and so far is has held up! I like that if anything gets on the covers that I can easily remove them and pop them in the wash. It's big enough to fit my 3 kids ( ages 7, 5 and 2 in the photo) with no problem at all. It was definitely worth the purchase!!!

In reading other reviews after I purchased but before I gifted this item, I read about the odor so I opened the box and the inner plastic packaging. There was an odor so I crammed about 1/2 dozen fabric softener sheets in the bag- I could not remove from package because it would expand and could not be wrapped. I left it open for a week before wrapping. This helped reduce the odor. Once gifted it fluffed up nicely and was comfortable and versatile for use in a child's playroom. It took about 48 hours with more fabric sheets, some febreeze and circulating air for the smell to go away. The size was perfect for toddlers and small kids.

Be aware that these are very cheaply made. Zipper broke after only 3-1/2 months! Even though they are still selling it they offered me $15 instead of sending me a new piece. Said they don't have it. How can you still be selling something you don't have? Poor product and they will not stand behind it! Oh and as you try to add a picture...miraculously something went wrong!
