Incredible value summer bag.
I've used this bag heavily the past few weeks in August for backpacking in the Sierra Nevada. It keeps me plenty warm while also wearing a light base layer. Well made Kelty product. Fantastic value

Be mindful of down insulation shifting around
I unpacked the sleeping bag when it arrived & allowed 24 hours for it to loft up. Then returned it to the stuff sack the night before my trip. When I set up at camp, it had about 5 hours to loft before I climbed in. The temperature got down to 47F by morning. I used an insulated (R-4.2) sleeping pad. I wore wool socks, shorts, a light base layer plus fleece mid-layer. I wasn't cold, but I was chilled throughout the night. Just enough that I could not fully relax. About 2 am I added long pants and a down puffy jacket and then I was warm enough to fully relax & sleep well. When I set up camp the next day, I noticed that the down did not completely fill the baffles and had slid away from the top of the bag and had clumped at the sides. I'm sure that this contributed to my discomfort the previous night. I tried fluffing the bag to shift the down from the sides to the top of the bag and to get it to un-clump. I was somewhat successful. For better or worse, the remaining nights only got down to 55F. I was comfortable enough with socks, shorts & a thin, long-sleeve base layer. Company web site claims ISO Comfort Rating: 48F but I would take that with a grain of salt. This would be fine as a summer bag but be mindful of placement/location of the down within the baffles and give it plenty of time to loft up before crawling in for the night.
