Very light
Very lightweight and well built for less than 200 pound person. My brakes do work well despite many reviews where did not. Only wish foot rest could fold out as needed and it would stay folded up so could roll as a cart without unfolding itself.

Better instructions for locking are needed!
Many complaints that you cannot lock this, causing it to be unsafe. None of the instructions were in English. You have to lock each brake handle individually (and use a good bit of strength!) and they are locked when it "pops". Then you can release them as indicated in the video.

Great for travel in old towns in Europe
We used this for my daughter on our two weeks in cities along the Rhine from Amsterdam to Basel and beyond. Coble stone streets and rough sidewalks were easily negociated with the larger wheels on this model. It's durable, and we had no mechanical problems with daily use.

Not sturdy
One of the handles does not lock in place. There is not a mechanism that keeps it closed. It easily slips open when it needs to remain closed

PERFECT - for our needs!
Wanted a smaller transport chair that had a larger back wheel to negotiate curbs or short steps, and adjustable sides for entry other than to the front. I also wanted the foot rest to lift out of the way (for entry) and this one does it seamlessly. The instructions aren’t very clear, so I wanted to state here, that to lock the brakes you pull hand levers until you hear them click. To release brakes, use small levers on each hand brake.Chair suits our 5’2” 118 lb. disabled daughter to a T. I wouldn’t expect her to spend a great deal of time in it comfortably, as there’s not a lot of padding to it, but it’s been wonderful to have it for the times she’s too weak to support her own weight when standing or walking. Its narrow profile is going to make running errands in tight spaces MUCH easier on us.
