Good On/Off Switch for the Money
I paid $8 for this to use as a headlight switch on my CRF250x. It appears to be working fine. The only reason I am giving 4 stars is because the wiring was backwards (the polarity?). I wired it red to power and white (should have been green) to ground. The ON was OFF and the OFF was ON. I undid everything and wired it the reverse and had the same result. Just to be safe, I wired it back the way I had it the first time. Since ON was OFF and OFF was ON but it works fine, I just took a permanent black marker and covered up the ON and OFF marks. It works great. I will see how it holds up on the trails with water and the other elements. For $8 this is not looking like a bad deal at all.Oh yeah, also, I have 1 1/8 bars and the switch mounted fine. It appears to be tight on there. I know some people said it wouldn't fit on their bars. I have the fat bars and it looks like it will be just fine.

Waterproof?
I'm not sure what I expected for a $7 switch but this thing is pretty low quality. I guess I should be thankful that I can even buy a switch for $7 but on the other hand, did I just waste my money? I opened up the switch to swap out the wires for a longer set which can reach all the way to my eBike battery to control the lights. Wow, the entire switch assembly including switch contacts are extremely exposed with no attempt to protect them from dust and water. Maybe the goal was to have a switch that could easily dry after wet conditions therefore making it "waterproof"? We will see how this thing stands up to the elements until I can find a better handlebar mounted switch solution.

Super easy to install and works well.
I bought this a backup to the lighted switch that turned out to be defective. While it is not lighted, it is well made and super easy to install. It is also easy to wire with only power and ground. I would certainly buy again but wish it had a lighted option. I have not been able to review whether it is water resistant or not as we have not ridden in the rain yet.
