Perfect for 134a Any cfc hfc or hcfc. 134a is a hfc refrigerant. I have had many leak detectors over the years and found this to be the best, so far

Does this have a built in pump?

Yes it has a pump. I used it today, found the leak. Im very happy with this leak detector.

Does it detect r507 gas?

have not used 507 but understand it is a hfc blend so should work fine. have used it with 502 a few times with good results.
