Good pictures, too sweet
This is a lovely recipe book for children, showing very clearly (with photos) each stage of preparation which I think is great. Let down a little bit by it being heavily focused on sweet things (it does also have savoury but is largely weighted towards sweet treats) - nothing against sweet things being included but (as with most children's cookbooks) this has the wrong balance. Kids should be encouraged to cook a whole range of foods, not just snacks and treats. Otherwise, a nice book!

varied recipes easily followed by 12 yr old thought it was great.Good explanation of methods and equipment namedand pictures.

My seven year old child loves this book. It’s so easy to follow without needing any crazy ingredients. The chocolate cake was amazing!

Good starter book
Got a budding chef in the family .. he is keen to start cooking so I selected this book as basic recipes with good layout and list of ingredients .. easy to follow.

Perfect for children wanted to cook with more independence
My daughter is 9 and she’s cooked several dishes out of this book with very little adult input. Exactly what I was looking for.

Range of recipes
Bought for my 8 year old niece. Nice range of recipes. Easy to follow, clear instructions. Lovely gift for a budding chef

My grand daughter loved this. I was really surprised how varied and good the range of recipes are in this book.
